Trying to Frequently
Update:
12.06.06- Online again ~ Time for News
Yes, There's a problem with the router here in my place but I try to make do with what I can.
So what's new? Well, Contracts is now online and can be viewed HERE. I'm trying to slow down the films that I do between now and home so I continue work on Kickback as well as start training for Gambit, and I just completed the script for Romeo's Wager. After all that Christmas stuff is taken care of, it means back here to Toronto to search for an agent. I recently had a photo shoot with a new cool friend of mine: Mark Kasumovic. So now I have all these awesome shots!
I'm going to also give you all a little preview of Kickback.... and I do mean little. Try to figure this one out. Haha.
So now I should also bring to your attention some new vids on YouTube that I'm sure some of you may have missed. Starting with: Catch the Stunts; I was bored while the router was down and decided I would make a music video of some of my stunts that not many of you have seen before. And how bout Ouch 2 where I kinda hurt myself. And my new reel which is viewed at Metacafe. I would like to draw to your attention Total Eclipse, Training 5 and Training 7. I like those three vids. If you want to see some new fight scenes by us. Check out. Sinister Six: Where we get to see Giulio Calisse and Jordan Alfarero in our vids for the first time. Also check out The Epic: a two on two brawl that we shot out of the blue. Hope you like my new toque. Also PLEASE VOTE FOR THIS MOUNTAIN DEW COMMERCIAL! The more Greenlights I get the closer I become to being on TV :D. I'm also going to point out this video that I was in, along with Alex Chung called Forsaken. It was shot by a friend of ours named Brian Sanford.
If that's not enough from myself and my team mates from Eclipse than check out both the behind the scenes of "Forsaken" along with Steve Clarke, Mike Piticco, Alex Chung and myself on an outing to Yorkdale Mall in this vid - Eclipse @ Yorkdale.
I posted some pics of Azriel on my Facebook. View them HERE. Wow. I'm pretty sure that's it. I guess you can also check out this interview of Alex Chung at BlogTO. But for now!
Peace!

11.25.06- The Next Step ~ Get Noticed!
Good morning world. DL MacDonald is still here and he is still chasing his dreams. Let me fill you in.
I have recently finished school (end of September) and with that completed a feature film with my class entitled: Position Q. Now that leaves me in the industry. Time to make a name for myself and get noticed and get some paying work. As I wait for that I TA at the Film School and that is loads of fun. In other me news, I have just worked on and completed a short film with Alex Chung, co-founder of Eclipse Stunt Crew - along with myself. This short film is called Contracts! View site: HERE. We're now into work on our last Martial Arts Comedy. It will be in the vain of "Potluck", our last Martial Art Comedy and will be featuring some returning characters from several of our movies. The film is entitled: Kickback. We're hoping to have it completed before next March.
So other than the stunt crew what work have I been doing? I'm playing the role of Kester, a bar man at an african resturant, in Bayo Akinfemi's feature film Eye of the Needle. Bayo was a nominee for best actor at the 2002 Gemini Awards for his role in Human Cargo. Eye of the Needle is hoping to be premiered at the next Toronto Film Festival. I really enjoyed my role in the film and I hope it turns some heads and brings some attention to me. Also, I just did some shooting for a new documentary being done by a student at the Toronto Film School: Justin Hannewyk. The Doc will focus on creative outlets for the youth in Toronto. I also have several other shorts that I recently completed within the last year; including: Absolution Through Retribution, Trumped, and Azriel.
I will also like to make it known that I'll be returning home this Christmas for a visit between the 24th and the 5th. I'll be visiting some family as well as shooting another short, for the time being it's title is "Romeo's Wager". So with that in mind if anyone wants to meet up with me or would like to help in the movie please give me an e-mail.
So until then, everyone stay true and healthy. I'm out! Peace!

07.27.06- Keep the Films Comin'
Let's begin with the news for the past few weeks. I should first make mention to the main pages new vids here's the low-down. Hired Trailer is self explanitory, looks good eh? Now the next 5 vids (Ninja 5000, Klaus, The Collar, Pump Me Up, Dungeon) were all part of a performance done by my class for Improv and Clown. The vids will either have me or Dave in it. I put these up because, 1) Thought my parents should see what I'm learning in school; 2) As a treat to my class mates; 3) So people can get a feel for the comedy both Dave and I exhume - because we're trying to Greenlight a feature film that we're writing. 4) And because I think they're just the funniest! Then we have Tandem, interesting little movie that Alex shot. My Short reel I used at the audition for Duke's film (which I pulled out of due to my scheduel). Yanno, not getting paid for my time when I need the time for school and work.
Here's some more news. I've got at least 6 movies of varying length to be shot from now until past December. We'll have:
"Absolution Through Retribution" a short student film that I auditioned for and got the lead. It's about two roommates that get caught in a war of pranks.
"Souls of Greed" is a film in which I was offered a role of a champion poker player in a group of illegal gamblers.
"Untitled Term 5 Project": This is in the works and will be shot through August and September. Mockumentary style - not gonna reveal too much but expect to see Klaus back on screen.
"Untitled Dave Carrillo / DL MacDonald Project" this will be a feature length movie - the first to be produced by a production cmpany that some class mates are standing with me. D3M2J Productions. This comedy will focus on Dave and I in a traditional odd couple style. Consider us the next Farley and Spade perhaps? This will be filmed Oct - Nov. Hopefully in Toronto or we're goin south of the border.
"Engaged" Alex Chung's next slapstick romantic comedy actioner.
"Out of Time" A Sci Fi Thriller that Steve Clarke is writing.
That's all you're gettin from me about future projects right now! How bout I let you all know that we have a new stunt team and a replacement for JD - Productions. Since I'm part of D3M2J and Alex is part of ADF - we choose that our collaborations are under Fuse Productions. Our Stunt Team is now "Eclipse Stunt Crew" and we're under consideration to be Sponsored by Adidas.
I feel as if I'm missing something but this is all I have? I would however like to shout to my Love who's in Alberta ~ HAPPY YEAR AND TWO~

07.10.06- Happy Birthday Kris
Today is my younger sister; Kristine's 18th Birthday today. So since my present won't be there until Leo gets there I figured I'd publicly announce Happy Birthday From me! Your Big Brother and also from Sammi, my loving girlfriend, who is in Alberta right now. It is 4 in the morning right now and I'm still awake. My sleep scheduel is haywire right now between editing this new movie "Hired" and shooting American Pie 5: The Naked Mile in Hamilton and Toronto overnights I just don't know what is what. I slept pretty much all day today, which is why I'm up right now. I do think that now is the best time to go to sleep because I have to go and give the school my money tomorrow :( oh, how my busy scheduel gets the best of me some days. I'm probably gonna have more time to update this because Sammi is gne for 6 weeks and I'll have not much to do. So peace out my hommies. happy B-day Sis, and I miss you Sammi!

06.17.06- Keepin Up with Me
Here we go again, time to fill everyone up on my current news and situations. Where to begin? Well, I'm coming to a close with 4th term. We filmed a new bits of script for Scream and that went really well. I'd like to get a copy of it to put online when I get it. All my classes are going well, Improv is a lot of fun and on the 30th we'll be performing a show at 5pm in Studio 890 on the 8th floor of CBC for anyone who wants to attend. I'm trying to find another job because Blockbuster is not doing it for me. Tonight I'll be performing in a show here: Artists' Play, I'm part of Avenue Q. We also just performed the same routine at the Lula Lounge last Wednesday. I'm doing stunts in an independant feature film called "Classified" that will be filmed over July. The link will take you to the director; Duke Panache's site. I'm also back with Sammi, we seem to be happier than ever ad are working things out. I'm also more than likely going to be helping out with Hart of the Annex this summer. I'm friends with Hart, the star and his office is down the street from here so I'll be doing maybe crew work or some acting. Phaytrix is currently being re-edited, so I still haven't seen it. Alex is filming his new movie POE and will be making a stop in Toronto to film a scene with me for it, also we're trying to get some people together to film a huge group fight at St Clair and Spadina. I'll post the date of filming because I want whoever can to come out and film it with us. I'd like to say good luck to all those back home getting ready to graduate. And tomorrow is Father's Day. So Happy Father's Day Dad. I'm out for now, news as events warrant ;)

05.10.06- Busy or Crazy?
Guess what I'm doing? I'm giving you guys a complete re-cap of what I've done since my last update..... starting with -
Wednesday; May 3rd, 2006: So I did manage to wake up on time to get to my class after being up so late cleaning my room. We pulled everything together perfectly to film the last 4 scenes in our project. Amazing that we finished that whole script. After class, as we usually do on Wednesday nights we all gathered outside the CBC and sat on the picnic tables where we all chat up while some drink and stuff. Always fun. Curtis decides to invite pretty much the whole class over, but really only Mike comes because he had to head to the Eaton Center while I stuck behind, o when we all headed to catch the trains, but when we hit St. George to transfer everyone decides that they're headin back to the East Side, where as Mike and I go West to Dufferin. Monique, Amanda and Michelle do end up finding their way over to ur place later on in the night. Around 1 we all decide to head to bed. Amanda left eralier. Mike has his own bed in the house that we let him use so he and Monique slept up there and Michelle was already crashin on my bed while I was doing work. Not like we slept at all that night because we spoke till 4 about our life growing up in smaller communities and now being in the big city. Why we do acting and what love means to use, that kinda stuff.
Thursday; May 4th, 2006: Mike and Michelle have class at 8; so Mike came in and woke us so she could head to class with him. I just stayed in bed so I could sleep. Not too long later Michelle came back saying she was a quitter and got back in bed and fell asleep again. We got up at 12 and took the bus to St Clair and Dufferin and from there we walked to her place near St Clair and Spadina. It was an awesome walk and such a nice warm breeze kind of day. Got to her place and decided we should go to lunch. Ended up at a small Italian place called "Da Maria" just east of Christie I believe. We had a nice meal and she had to run back home to get dressed for work. Myself, I was ready for work. So she ran ahead while I hobbled along with my bad foot and ended up meeting my uncle Leo who wanted me to give him my schedule so I could do some work for him too. Michelle meets back up with me, I take her almost the whole way to work before I need to turn around and go to work myself. While at work pretty much nothing happened. Once we closed at Midnight I walked east on Bloor to go to the RBC and withdraw my Rent money. Walked home from there without a problem, and went to sleep.
Friday; May 5th, 2006: Had Dialects class in the morning, we started Scottish. Had some lunch at Wendy's, and then Dave got sad that I ate without him, but i still ended up goin to Dollar Pizza with him. Improv class was alright and then instead of me hanging around afterwards outside like we do on Wednesdays too, I left because I had to get ready for Nicole's birthday. I stoped at Blockbuster to pick up my uniform for later in the week and then headed home to shower and prepare. (Appearently Blockbuster was held up by Three Gunmen later on that night - everyone is alright). So I got all prettied up and headed to the Mink, where I was early so I went to the school... at 10 at night. I chatted with Agostino and Daniel about how class is and stuff like that. Got the call and went to the club where I hung out with Nicole and my cousin Katie aswell as the other invited guests. I left around 12:30 and got home at 1.
Saturday; May 6th, 2006: I did absolutely nothing today except for work on some website maintenance and projects. I also watched "Grandma's Boy" and "Munich" I loved them both..... very surprised that I liked G-Ma's Boy as much as I did. I recommended them both as long as you know what types of movies they are. I would say if you love Teen movies (Which I despise) You would be doing yourself a favor watching this because it has to be the best one out there. And If you want a high tension drama go and watch Munich... sure it's almost three hours, but you won't be sorry.
Sunday; May 7th, 2006: I had a nice little time working at St Clair and Alberta, so quiet there on a Sunday, loved it. And the nieghborhood, it's the very first blockbuster i visited, the night I came to Toronto I ended up there and renting Taxi.... shitty movie by the way. But it went smoothly. I've got Merwin who's going to be hooking me up in the business of Extra work without the need of an agency. For the last bit of that afternoon I went to Wal-Mart with Mischa and just hung out at home.
Monday; May 8th, 2006: We had class this day during our reading week. I left early so I could have a walk before school. And then we continued our Clown work. Mike came over after class so we could work on our Dialect Homework, we got together with Michelle and Monique again this night. Went to a bar where I sat back and did some Sudoku as they put some drinks back, Michelle and Mike went to the LCBO and left Monique and I there to wait for them and for the wings they ordered. After all that we went to Michelle's place and we all washed our feet for some reason. We played some rounds of Slap, where we found out I'm pretty fast at it... could have been because I wasn't drunk. Then they decided to play shot for shot, which I don't like playing so I went easy, despite the fact that I was getting punch with some force. Amazingly it was only 11:30 when Mike and I left, somehow it was 11:30!!! I was freakin... I thought it was so much later. So we went downtown and had some Pizza Pizza. Where they cut the slice in half for you, like most places here in Toronto.... you don't get that whack stuff back home, you get the slice of pizza like you should.... as a SLICE! But I ordered two Slices which means four pieces. I gave my last piece to some guy outside who I seen when we entered. And then whatever Spare change I had I gave to this fella who was on Yonge and Gerrard. We ended up goin to the Eaton Center around 12:30 because I had to pee. Went home and I went to sleep not long after.
Tuesday. May 9th, 2006: Today I hung out with Jourdan Chow. We met up downtown, walked around and chatted about what we've been up too, ended up back at my place where we decided to film a short fight on the roof, and it was really short because I do a fall in it and that's where we ended because I cut my back up pretty nice. As you can see from the pic. Later on after that I picked Sammi up after work and walked her the whole way home. It was nice to get back together with her for that small amount of time.
So here I am now telling you all what has happened. Today all I plan on doing is some much needed to get done homework. Also Good Luck Kristine as you make your way To Newfoundland! I'm pullin for ya! Well... Peace!
05.02/03.06- Zone of Silence
What a beautiful day today or yesterday! Pretty much since I woke up... at 8..... just enough time to catch that 9 o'clock class I had. I wore shorts and my green beater today, just walked around in the sun for the most part, after practicing for our Weds/Tomorrow/Today's class..... jeez, confusing eh, it's 3 o'clock... but I still consider it Tuesday, even though none of you will see this till Wednesday., please pretend you know what I'm writing.
Anyways, my great beautiful day..... I practiced my scenes and stuff after class with my group "Team C" and then after that I headed down to Union Station with Dave and Mike for our Dollar Pizza. Then we hung out as we ate the Pizza in this nice little alleyway where Dwayne ended up meeting up with us. AND THEN! Dave and I went back to the CBC and used room 833 to watch some episodes of Trailer Park Boys, so funny! And as usual Dave ended up dragging me to Scarborough, like he always does when I have nothing to do and we did some entertaining on the Subway. Some lady came on, miserable looking, and she looked like someone that couldn't take a joke too..... our type of challenge. We started off by talking about the Salami sandwich that was on the floor. Dave taking the approach that, if it's still fresh it's probably still good to eat, even though I had to point out you still wash fresh fruit and veggies if you want to eat them; this is after the fact that I asked him to eat it for $5. Lady thought that spiel was pretty funny.... then she's blind sided by our wit of the english language when I try to figure out the plurals of Hippopotamus and Platypus (which are Hippopotimi and Platypi respectively) - but I raise the daunting question that the suffixes are mixed up.... because "Us" means at least two and "I" means oneself..... "What the hell?" - and I made a terrible weak joke that the plural of "Apple Biscuits" is "Apple Pie"..... she got it though. Haha.
After gettin Dave to where he was going and getting on the bus with a lunatic driver goin crazy drivin West on Finch I managed to find my way down to Wellesley... why there? I dunno, but I wanted to have a nice sunny walk on Yonge Street before I wasted the day. Found that elusive Wendy's that was near my old apartment.... I was pretty po'ed when I realized how close it was... I mean, it was within a stones throw of the bank I frequent while I lived there.
Still, I ate and walked to College and took a street car to College and Dufferin, while on the street car though I decided to observe the Zone of Silence as we were taught by Melee last year. So what happens? There's a guy sitting across from me... with a pad and paper.... sketching me. I thought that was pretty cool. I ended up talking to him before he left and he showed me the sketch, he was really good at it.
Got off the Street car and walked home from College, such a nice walk! Fresh air up until Bloor, and then somewhat fresher than what Bloor was once I passed! Got home and decided to climb up onto the roof of the house.... so yea, did that! Chilled in the house with the guys, chatted with Jess for a bit, and then when 1 o'clock rolled around I said, I've got to clean this room! And I did, that's why it's now 3:15. And Jay is online and I'm chatting with him and he told me I look like David Faustino from Married with Children..... and that's pretty much my day. Time for Sleep!

05.01.06- Clowning Around!
Another exciting round of updates coming at ya right now! So, Clowning is a fun past time, if you do it right! What you need is a clown nose, like I have, and training, which I am getting.... so without that, you're outta luck and you'll end up doing it wrong, maybe affending some people or scaring them. You don't want that... oh, and don't do it in the Eaton Centre, you get in trouble.
Now onto business. I've been filming with two new guys: Taz and Steve. I shot a lil somethin with them which you can see, although all you will see is the short fight we shot. Dan will be working the Toronto filming end of things for now while Alex works the Cornwall on his newest effort at a short: "POE". Due to his injury he'll be taking a new approach at action choreography.... and so am I, but that's also due to the talent I am working with.
Clandestine will become something thrown on to the end of Potluck, seeing as how we shot the entire movie in one day, i guess it can't be that great.... right? Potluck, however... IS that great... haha. You'll be seeing that in the near future. Right now you can see the teaser that is up.
And finally, right now I guess, for May..... I've decided, let's open up the Team Page to the public. Now, we are missing 3 pictures at the moment but that won't be that way for too long. Also, we will continue to add as need be. And here is a list of those who somehow managed to provide me with the info for their bio: Myself, Alex Chung, David Carrillo, Michael Angelone, Brendan Boyle. Taa Daa! So go nuts and check them out!
- DL MacDonald
04.23.06- It's all in the name
Big update coming this way right now and you'll see another one later. I'm sure! So now onto some news. Let's do this with some paragraphes and details.
Name Change: I am now known as DL MacDonald. Why? Well have you been to IMDb lately and searched "Dan MacDonald" I'm number 5 out of 9? So there's a lil problem, although the main problem will occur when I go to join ACTRA or SAG and they say, we already have a Dan MacDonald.... appearently they can't register the same name twice. So thanks to Michael Ayoub, my Voice-Over teacher, and the Drama teacher from Billy Madison I have changed my name to DL MacDonald.
April 19th: I recently had my Birthday, I am now 20 years old. What does this mean for me? I'm just another year older..... that's all. Sounds better than 19 though. For my birthday I recieved some gifts and cards from home. I had some friends over: Michelle, Mike, Samir, Monique.... Jermaine made it half way but decided he should be getting home instead. Dwayne and Dave hung around after school for a bit before we headed to my place. Monique didn't stay all night but the rest did. Michelle fell asleep first, than Mike went to bed.... they both had morning classes. And then Samir and I stayed up a lil longer singing some Michael Jackson, till he passed out. Then I played on my comp for an hour... by 4 I went to bed.... haha. It was an alright night.
Team Page: This part of the site is well underway. I just want everyone to know that I need info that corresponds to the info I gave inmy bio if you all want a bio page for yourself. So anyone who I've worked with, send me that info! You all know my e-mail address.
Injuries: Well my left ankle is feeling much better. I met up with Alex earlier this week and it seems that he has gotten a lot of his mobility back from his ACL accident he acquired from a 5 foot jump....that's right, 5 feet. So everyone should take a note from that and always becareful.
Projects: This part of the update will be done in Three Sections. Starting with School: So for Bayo's class I am teamed up in what's known as the super group; Group 'C'. Heavy hitters such as Myself, Jermaine, Michelle, and Mike. I've worked with them all before and I know that they'll deliver as mmuch as I will. We have two scripts to shoot from till the end of June. Including "Dogma" where I play a speaking Silent Bob. And then "Scream" where I play the role of Billy. Also in school I'll be shooting a test version of my script (C.O.D) for directing class before handing it over to Agostino to shoot. It will star David Carrillo and Jermaine Carty. Now onto TV:So I would first like to point out that there's been someone in Port Hawkesbury that said they had seen me being interviewed on CBC on the night of the 19th. Now I don't remember being interviewed so if anyone had more info about this I would like to know about it. And then there is this website here for all those that are interested in the development of Ultra. The reason I post this show and not Beautiful People is because you'll be hard pressed to find me in that show, it'll be like Where's Waldo. Ultra you'll see me no problem. And finally My Movies: Potluck will soon have a teaser trailer released here on the site, so just wait a lil bit. And then You'll need to wait a lil bit more before Phaytrix makes it debut to the internet but you will all be posted.
I can't help but think that I'm missing something but still, you were all given a nice big update here to read and learn from so maybe I'll save it for another time when I remember what it was. So Good Luck everyone! Thanks for all of your support!
-DL MacDonald
04.11.06- I Only Tore them Because I thought I wasn't using them
But it turns out that I was wrong :( So during a front flip yesterday I tore two ligaments in my left leg... ouch! Upon impact with the ground I heard two very loud snaps. Guess it was my ligaments. I went to St. Mikes hospital with Monique and Michelle from my class and I cannot thank them enough. I'm really appreciative and glad I have friends like you that I can rely on. I'm getting some major upper body strength now, mostly in my arms thanks to these damn crutches. I've actually found that I rather walk with the sore foot than make both my arms sore too! So now I find time to bring you guys this great update of videos. Due to popular demand I came up with a new bumper! See old favs of Sunday Fun 1 through 4, as well as the trailer for our short film: DRASTIC. Since I realized I never posted it. But also enjoy the other 5 new treats of GROCERIES, Alex and I training at Ryouko's, Alex's compilation of fight videos that he's done as well as his demo reel. and finally, the trailer to a tricking video that Mike Piticco and I have begun. Except it's gonna be mostly Mike for now... haha, damn. But yea, you'll be seeing some new stuff from us in a few months maybe. Like Clandestine and Potluck! For now! I'm over and out!
- DL MacDonald
04.06.06- Starving Actor (sorta)
Yep.... Sorta. haha, I'm down to a very minimum amount of money, Blockbuster is giving me... at the most! One shift a week. Which I guess is alright because I'm getting really tired of that place. I just finished my third term of school. Now it's on to term 4! (term 5 is my last ;D ). I've got an acoount on www.youtube.com where you can watch all of my old demo reels, maybe even some old fight scenes in time. I'll just keep adding to it if people keep watching it. I should be coming across some of the money I made working on some shows soon. I've been an extra in two TV Shows. The first one is "Ultra" - a TV Pilot in which I was to be a pedestrian, minding my own business as I walked up a street to the corner when a car accident happens involving a transfer truck, a car, a taxi and a truck. then two more cars that swerve. It was quite a feat to see. Then to my surprise i'm chosen to play the startled trucker. Good screen time there. Oh boy. So when the show is aired in the fall (fingers crossed) you should most deffinately see me. The second show that I did was called "Beautiful People" for ABC Family. I'm in the 16th episode.... which I believe will be the third ep of the 2nd season. You'll see me as a spectator at a fashion show. When everyone if entering I'm the one in the green unbuttoned dresss shirt walking to a seat on the left side of the stage. But as the show progresses you'll see me on the right side of the stage in a seat in the second row. So there's some money that I'm making... Woo Hoo! Also, yesterday I went tricking through downtown with Mike Piticco and we ended up drawing a crowd. Maybe I should busker for a bit.... Well, I'm out for now. Expect to see a trailer for Potluck soon!
- DL MacDonald
03.23.06- This Update is for Sherrie Hunt
Yep, that's right I have no idea what to say. I watched Capote last night: Philip Seymore Hoffman was amazing! Ummm..... School is going great! I have been picked up by Talent 2NV, a talent agency that casts for roles as extras. I should get some good work coming from that. I'm expecting a call by the weekend actually. It's my break week right now, then a week of class, and then another break between terms. That's not too bad. I'll enjoy that. I'm looking on making some shorts that I'll be puttin online in the future. So I guess you should expect to see them all in a mass update by the end of March. Sorta like what I did last time. This Saturday I'll be finishing the Potluck fight with Alex.I guess right now I should get back to my school work. Ewww. PEACE!
- DL MacDonald
03.05.06- When does Dan get to Sleep?
That's the question on my mind. Let me tell you I've been busy! Staurday and Monday I started filming a great new Action/Comedy called "Potluck" wait till you see this sucker! Hoo-boy.... I'm not center stage though.... thank god! I can film my stuff and sit and wait for Alex to build the rest of the story and stuff... So I can be surprised and excited to see this film too! HAHAHA.... It's so crazy and ridiculous though! Unlike any comedy you've seen me shoot... and the action.... HOLY we're going insane..... i can't believe we shot this stuff that we shot! Also! On Tuesday I had an underwater shoot for "Phaytrix" scene where i wake up within it. I almost drowned shooting it so I hope that it looks tight. Wednesday I shot a few takes of "Thicker than Water" where I play a drug addict. How's that for stretch? Then Thursday and Friday blended together as such: school is 8:30-2; work was 6-12:30; shooting Subway scene for Phaytrix was 1:30 - 5:50; School 8-12 haha..... isn't that awesome. I'm happy to say that I'm wrapped for Phaytrix now... they have one more scene to shoot but that's without me. They shot 6 scenes to compile into a trailer that will be posted like mad through the internet and will also be handed out to production companies in hopes of getting funding to create a Feauture Film out of the idea. I'm still attached to the product as the lead if that happens (as of now I am at least). I worked at Blockbuster on Christie and Dupont tonight... love how quiet that store is :D , hope to get some more shifts there. By the way Jermaine (who was on the Phaytrix shoot that night) and I got to shoot a little test of our scene for Camera Class.... which will go along with my journal. Looked good. I have a pic right HERE for you all to see. I'm going to update my CJ again..... while listenin to some Stevie and whatever else this iTunes is gonna spit out in my direction.... it's on Shuffle: I have 302 songs on there.... 180 is Stevie. What would you know. Keep er Real guys!

02.25.06 - Embracing the Hard Times
Well, times get hard but you need to push and push until you overcome adversity. So Dan's out lookin for extra work...... work that provides money. If I get any films that will pay me then I 'll do them, otherwise I'll probably won't film anything in awhile as I accumulate some funds. I do have a loan but I want to limit the times I need to dip into that. If you check out my bio page you can see that I've added a few new info in there. Retail resume *sigh* (DESPERATE), some new film credits, and I'll have a link to a new bio page from the Agency I've been signed to. There's also a new entry in my character journal. Got to go know though...... time to find some work.

02.18.06 - Unanswered Prayers
Hey Hey! Big Updates. I got rid of the feature vid page and instead added a new one. My Character Journal! So please check that out. My two new demos are online! Very very exciting. Two short vids - ones a trailer and the other is my first wall flip without a mat. Hell my first one where I wasn't at Ryouko. I'll stick it later. I also updated my Bio with some new info. So far so good everyone. I'll have a late night of shooting on March 3rd. Holy cow that will be fun. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew about the updates. Take Care Everyone! Thanks goes to Brendan for alot of the technical stuff he's done with the main page. I'm still workin on the team page..... holy cow I don't know when that will be put online - considering there really isn't a team.... people I film with. We'll have to wait and see I guess. PEACE!

02.11.06 - Bumper Added

02.04.06- Brokeback McMullens
Hey there everyone! I'm back. Ok, So I went to Stunt Training on Monday, and I may have broken a finger. Tuesday we shot the interrogation scene of "The Phaytrix" - which went well, people commemeraded me on my acting.... I thought it was weird that they would have considering I had to act stupid, I graciously accepted the compliments. Wednesday blocked/verbed/relationed a scene with Michelle Tierney for Camera Class. Later that night I acted opposite Curtis Bruton for something that Tim needed for School - was a scene from Raging Bull (memorized the whole Script in two minutes). Thursday Samir Mourani, David Carrillo, Micheal Angelone, and I shot a poker scene for Michael Lee; a directing student in the school. Went very very well. Plenty of lines for myself..... had to act angry and mean the whole shoot. Friday - Performed the Scene Michelle and I worked on in front of the class - within the scene we kiss. Practiced twice for the teacher and class then we shot it. So Dan's First on Screen kiss was with Michelle Tierney. Then worked at a Blockbuster on Bloor and Bathurst from 4:30 - 1:00. 8 1/2 hours of much needed work..... even though I have an already busy scheduel. Writing week coming up - Make up Class on Monday - Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday I will be filiming more Phaytrix scenes. Friday has been reserved for Sammi - goin out with her and some friends and then she's hitting the stunt training with me. Today I need to write up a report for a meeting at Blockbuster (Bloor and Dufferin). And any other spare time throughout the week is for school work - cleaning - or just some good ole sleep! Which I have been missing. Went through this whole week on maybe 11 hours of sleep starting Monday night to Now. Take this update for example: it's now 3:00am in Toronto. And might I add the weekend Before was even less sleepful. Seeing as how I was at Training Friday till 10 - went to York Uni and shot with Alex Chung and his Friend Lester till 4 in the morning... sorta half slept on his floor and went to Sammi's for the weekend helping her babysit. But you know what? I LOVE IT!!! I'm not very scared of burning myself out because I love being busy.... and nothings more exciting to me than keeping it busy with things I love: Acting/Sammi/Blockbuster. The Life of The Actor is the Life For Me... That's For Sure. Hope you all appreciate the large large update. Everyone back on the Cape - TAKE CARE! And To any SAERC 04 Grads! Hope you are all experiencing the luck that I have been experiencing. Miss You All - But Glad I'm Here!

01.26.06- Eight Happy Months :D
So here's the lowdown. I've gotten the part for the Phaytrix - and you can tell by visiting my Bio which has been updated. I'm working on two new reels for you. And I'll be logging all the happennings while filming this movie. I'm excited. And prepare to see a lot more of me on the web sometime soon. Like IMDb.... which is coming along nicely. But the advertisings and promotions that Steve (Dir. of Phaytrix) wishes to do with this is insane. I'm looking forward to it. Now - I really must be sleeping but it seems as if there was something else I wanted to add..... I don't remember though. Sorry. Check ya's later!

Hey everyone! Thought I would stop in with some updates. I've got my own computer now so expect more and more updates and news as it comes about. So, right now I should tell everyone that I've auditioned for a paroady of the Matrix that is being made called "Phaytrix". Auditioned for one of the leads "Leo"...... ya, just like in "The Elastrix". I've added some of my new teachers to my Bio page and I've also begun the team page so expect that soon. -Jackie Dan
12.24.05- Merry Christmas
Hey there everyone!!! What's going on in the world today? Givin a little cool bit of info here... stumbled upon this the other day. Appearently I have a page on IMDB. How cool is that? Soon it should be jocked full of info because I've been submitting new things like every minute. The editors of the site are going to hate me :D. But I'm tickled pink. I have plans for a film while I'm down. Hopefully this works out - and that's all I'll say. So take'r easy. Merry Cristmas and Happy New Year!
-Jackie Dan
12.08.05- The Biggest Update Ever
Okay everyone. Nobody expected this I bet. A whole new face lift to the website. Welcome to the Jackie Dan version of the site now. JD - Productions is still alive, don't get me wrong. But things have changed. I'm no longer in small town Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. I'm in big city Toronto, Ontario! So: Why am I here? and Why the change of the site?I'm now in Toronto pursuing my career in film - Acting, Directing, Stunts, what have you. I'm attending Toronto Film School for Acting, and am enjoying my time greatly. I began July 11th 2005, and am currently at the end of term 2. Three more terms left! FYI: I work at Blockbuster on Bloor and Dufferin ;).I changed the site so it will focus on my new works in Toronto, and as a promotional database for agents to look at.Now let me drop some news. Obviously you've seen the new frontpage. I have placed Ten Vids there for all you viewers: Special thanks to Jon "Kenuvan" Clover for the websace - extremely greatful. The first 5 are vids from Toronto, and the last 5 are vids from PHK. Let me run them down for you:
SNEAK: I got together with Alex Chung who I've met through the Stuntpeople's Message board a few years back, and Tim Biemann - a directing Student and one of my roommates to film this fight scene. It's still a work in progress but please look at it for yourself.
The Street: The first fight scene in which I collaborated with Alex. We filmed this during an all nighter outside my current house. Shooting took place between 2 and 5 at night.
Awe Nuts: Tim directed this short movie of myself and another roommate and classmate of mine: Curtis Bruton.
Dan vs Jourdan: Jourdan Chow of the oX Pasture and I got together and filmed this little fighting movie so the two of us wouldn't get out of practice and so we could film with each other. Camera done by old time friend and member of JD - Productions Richard McDougall who now lives in Toronto.
Jackie Dan TO: A mini sampler of the new stunts and moves I've learnt since I moved to Toronto - and if that doesn't intrest you then you should at least watch it for the shot of my girlfriend at the end of the sampler.
Blooper Reel: A compilation of some of my finest bloopers ever caught on tape.
Kyle Demo: This is a demo reel of Kyle Stewart - friend I used to film with and will continue to when I return home.
No Goods of January: This kept in the vault compilation finally sees the light of day. Several of the worst and funniest attemps made by Kyle and myself during tricking sessions in between shoot dates of Lottery. I may release the vid of our actual tricks.
Trampoline: This is simply what I looked like on my trampoline that I used to own.
Lottery Trailer: The trailer for the last movie that JD - Productions couldn't finish. Starring Kyle Stewart, Daniel MacDonald, w/ guest roles by Bryan MacDonald, and Brendan Boyle. So what have I been up too? Expect to see me in some movies. Here's a little run through.
Silence: If any of you have seen "Saw" this is the directors latest. I have an extra bit as a passerby in I believe scene 6. This will be released in Theatres.
Retribution: I played a gang member in this film by Emerson Wong. Check the trailer on his site to catch a glimpse of me.
UNLIMITED: A documentary of Canadian Stuntmen and Martial Artists that I was a major focus on. Will make it's way into some festivals but I will have a copy of it when I come home for Christmas.
So yeah. That's some of my news. I will be Home for Christmas on the 21st. Some points of intrest. I'm in love with my girlfirend Sammi Evans we'll have our 7 monthes on the 26th. Also I fulfilled one of my Life Dreams - I MET JACKIE CHAN!!!! Amazing eh. Well I hope everyone else from the class of 04' are dooing well, as well as my many friends from the class of 05'. Hope to see you all over Christmas. Ciao!
