Jonathan Davis AsylumFan Fiction - Stolen Innocence
[stolen innocence- part one]
The Sunday's morning's sun fell in his eyes directly, clouding his vision
for an instant. When he blinked, the image he had seen so many times in his
dreams was finally clear: the well cared garden, the recently painted fence,
plants and multicolour flowers sprayed with dew, the moon's gift.
And him.
Sitting in the garden, playing with a robot which seemed too big and heavy
to his tiny hands. He couldn't remember his age...around 5 years old, maybe
more, maybe less, definitely not more than 6, knowing how kids over 8 pass
of being beautiful and delicate creatures of God to become horrible and
annoying little monsters. The sun's soft rays caressed his light brown hair,
making it shine. Baggy grey pants with holes in the knees and an once white
tee-shirt, outfit he surely wore to sleep at night, hid all his innocent
secrets...the ones than "he" was disposed to discover... by force.
A big shadow clouded the sun and covered his little body. He felt cold and
shivered, looking up. Mr. Rogers' doctrine immediately hit his brain, and
smiled at the man. He stared at the kid with sweaty forehead ad shallow
breathing, his chin quivered, intoxicated by his palpitating innocence,
trying in vain to hide the whirl of degenerated emotions inside.
"Hi, Jonathan!" He could finally articulate, with broken voice, and crouched
down, next to him. Jonathan. Beautiful name. It meaned "gift of God".... He
really was. Since he saw him for the first time, his hunter's nose told him
that child was the one. He was just...perfect. "Hey, how's Robotron today?"
A classic question to get into the child's small world of his imagination
and make him fall on his adhesive web of lies. Jonathan shrugged, with a
smile. He liked him. He was so kind, so happy, so nice...so different than
his grumpy daddy. "Can I talk with Robo for a moment?"
The kid doubted for an instant, but he finally gave it to his neighbour...he
even felt a little guilty for being so selfish. Good boys lend his toys!
The man put the toy near to his ear, and his face revealed a fake surprise.
"Do you know what Robo told me?"
"He doesn't talk too much!" Jonathan said, laughing.
"Well, think you must be deaf...maybe you have a corn field here!" He
twirled his rough index finger in the kid's ear, who convulsed in laughs for
the tickle. "Oh...hey...what's this? This was in your ear!" Making the old
trick of the coin, he showed it to Jonathan, who was marvelled by the talent
and the magic of his neighbour.
"WOW!" His eyes widened. The man smiled, he obviously had impressed him.
"How you did that?"
"It was in your ear, I already told ya you had a treasure in there!"
The child was confused. "No, because my dad bathes me every day and when
he cleans my ears he doesn't find anything...except...you know!" And
laughed.
"Ok, it was an old trick..." The man admitted, giving the coin to the kid. "
Robo told me how good guy you are.... And good boys deserve a reward".
Jonathan was speechless, looking at the silver coin. He didn't know the
exact value of it, but he knew he could buy a lot of candies with it.
"Can....can I keep it?" He asked, shy. "Sure! It's all yours!"
"WOW! Thanks, Mr Magoo!" He jumped over the man and rounded his neck with
his arms.
The man laughed, and corrected. "Mr. Gough". But he didn't cared if the
child mistook him with the cartoon character. He couldn't care less. To
Jonathan, it was an innocent tender expression of thankfulness. To his
neighbour, it was like the grateful hug of a jaded lover after sex. The
contact of the child's body against his, feeling his smooth body was causing
in him something more than goosebumps. He was becoming more and more
aroused. He closed his eyes and let escape a deep sigh, breaking the hug to
stop the emotions. It wasn't time. Not already. Jonathan sat again in the
grass. "Last week, in the night, the tooth fairy brought me a coin
too" He opened his mouth and showed an empty space in his front teeth. "My
daddy sent me to sleep, he said that if I was awake the fairy never would
show up, it's like Santa, if you're not asleep, he can't show up, maybe
because he's afraid of reveal his identity, like Clark Kent who never wants
anyone to know that he's Superman..." He made a short pause to breath and
continued. "But I just closed my eyes and I saw him! He was wearing little
yellow pants..." The man was looking at him, feigning be really interested
in his story even if he wasn't listening a word...he was still dizzy for
Jonathan's soft fragrance...But somebody made him come back to reality.
"Jonathan! Come here RIGHT NOW!"
His dad walked towards them, and he tried to hide his bad mood in front of
his neighbour, changing his annoyed face for a convincing smile. The man
stood and shook Jonathan's father's hand friendly. "Hey Rick, what's up? How
are you?" "Hi Bob! I'm fine, thanks...but somebody is not going to be fine I
think...." He fixed his eyes in his son, who was sitting in the grass, his
arms holding Rob, avoiding his look. "How many times I told you not to get
out the house alone?" "Daddy, I wasn't alone..."
"Don't reply to me!" His dad ordered, serious. "And you must to finish your
milk.... I don't buy it to throw it to the trash because you don't want to
drink it". Jonathan made a disgusted and funny grin. "YUCK! I don't like
it!" "You didn't get me, right?" Rick was obviously losing his kind smile
and his patience. "I didn't asked you if you liked it or not.... Im
ordering you to go back to the house and drink it all!"
"Jonathan..." Bob tried to gain points with his friend and his son. "Go and
drink all your milk.... Its good for your teeth...and the fairy pays better for
them!" He smiled, winking at him. He knew it would work out.
"Really? WOW I will be rich! Jonathan jumped from the grass and walked
towards his house.
"Hey Bob, thanks for making my son drink all the milk cartoons of the
refrigerator!" Both men laughed, and Rick continued "I'm glad you were here
with him, Bob...you never know which pervert is going to round the
neighbourhood...it's scary".
Bob fell a chill down his spine. "Yeah, you never know, Rick...it's better
to keep them safe.... Children are the most beautiful thing in the world".
"Beautiful?" Rick laughed. "When Jesus said, "let the children come near to
me" he obviously wasn't talking about MY children!" Laughs again. "Couple of
little brats..." He watched at his clock. "Well, I think I got go, Bob, I
have to get my kids ready to go to their mom's house..."Both men shook hands
again. Bob saw Rick walking towards his house, hurried, and shut the door.
He licked his chapped lips, satisfied. The moment was near.
Very near.
