Thump. The black kitten fell off the tall chair onto the rug. It mewed
pitifully in pain for a moment, then bounded off towards the kitchen. It
sniffed at the stale food in it's cat dish. He heard a noise coming from his
master's bedroom. He scampered into the room, and hid under a table. His
master was with a woman! He jumped onto the foot of the bed, un-noticed.
This woman was not Renee, his other master! This woman had yellow fur, not
dark brown. He meowed loudly. The woman spotteed him and giggled drunkenly.
"Aw Jonathan, is this your kitty?" His master noticed him, and angrily
climbed out of bed. He scooped the kitty up and dumped him outside the door,
and shut it. No! This was not right, the baby cat thought. He meowed and
meowed and scratched at the door, but Jonathan and the yellow-haired woman
paid him no attention. Wait! Another noise distracted him. A jingling noise.
Ooh keys! He scrambled to the fun noise, and skidded to a stop at Renee's
feet. She giggled and picked him up. She was so nice. The kitty batted at
the keys in her hand, then remembered his other master. He squirmed to get
out of her hands and whined at her. "Oh what's wrong little guy?" Renee
asked him. He ran back to his master's bedroom door, and scratched at it
some more. Renee came through the hallway, and found her kitty. She picked
him up, and slowly opened the door. "JONATHAN!!!" The kitty hit the floor
again, and scampered off upset because it was dropped. He curled up in a
basket on he kitchen counter and licked himself. He watched as the woman
with the yellow hair ran out of the house, and Renee started crying. She
locked herself in another room. The kitty went to go visit Jonathan, and
jumped up on his furry chest. He licked Jon's face, liking the salt from his
tears.
"Meeeoooowwww." It said affectionately, and purred.
