| I had heard many good things about this fairly new spring shotgun, but, being as skeptical as I am, I never bought one. It is acctually my dad's gun, but he it to me along with all his other guns so that I could do reviews and work on them. For $20 at academy, this ugly "toy" is actually an awesome weapon. the only problem is the fact that it's clear. It is not built out of the most high quality plastic, but definetly a worthy opponent in any game. The gun is supposed to resemble a Benelli M870 "Riot" shotgun. Yeah right, more like a deformed Bennelli. It's mother must have been on alchohol, it looks so bad. I guess I would give it some slack if it weren't clear. The range on this gun is outstanding. With an improved hopup system, and a barrel over a foot long, this gun fairs pretty well, even against AEG's. It has a huge spring for high fps, but the pump makes cocking it a breeze. Using .12's, the BB's fly out about 30 feet, then curve sharpy upward, while .2's are absolutely perfect. You can easily hit a man sized target at 100 feet. There are no rear sights, just a front post, which intrigues me. With such an accurate gun, the lack of iron sights really pisses me off. There is, however, a rail on the receiver, on which you can mount a red-dot sight, laser, or scope. (Word of advice; Don't show up to one of my games with a scope on your shotgun, not happening buddy.) In conclusion, this is an excellent weapon for going up against AEG's or springers. It has the range and the power to get the job done. It prevails in spinger wars, and fairs well against the big guns. As a primary or a backup, this gun is well worth the price. |
