| The girls took a relaxing swim for about an hour, but neither noticed the man who watched them through one of the glass windows. "Let's go find the boys. I'm sure they could use a 15 minute break," Rachel stated as they dried off. "Sounds good." They entered the main house and startled the man at the window. "Sorry. I was trying to place your faces," he spoke and offered his hand. "I'm Johnny Wright." "Kelci Andrews." "Rachel Albert," Rachel stated and took her turn shaking his large hand. "We thought we'd interrupt the guys for a little break. Is that OK?" "Sure. They've been going pretty hard. I'll show you." Kelci tightened her towel and followed Johnny and Rachel. They wound around corners and the music seemed to surround them. Finally Johnny stopped outside the door marked 7 and knocked loudly to be heard over the discussion inside. "Come in!" "It's just me and these two sun-kissed ladies. We thought you could use a lil' break," Johnny informed as he led the girls in. "They're wet just thinkin' about me," Joey stated. "Only because you drool worse than pre-teen girls do for Justin," Rachel mouthed off and hi-fived Kelci as Joey pouted. "Good one, baby," Lance smiled and pulled her onto his lap. "Did you have fun?" "Yes, we did." "What did you buy?" Justin asked as his leg bounced. "A new bedroom set for me and Kelci found the crib for Rock, a table for the breakfast nook then we were chased from the mall after Kelci disappointed a fan." "Well...would YOU have done it?" Kelci asked with a smile. "Nope." "There you go." "What did she want you to do?" Justin asked. "HE wanted me to sign underwear." "A fir covered snow white thong that he hadn't purchased yet," Rachel informed. "And blow him." "What?!" JC laughed. "Exactly! I signed a piece of paper and called Lonnie into the store. I thought the guy was gonna piss his pants," Kelci smiled as JC took her hand. "How's it going in here?" "Pretty good. We'll be about another two hours or so. Did you decide what you wanted to do tonight?" Rachel shrugged, "We don't really know what there is to do besides the parks, but it's too late for those." "We could stay in and I'll cook dinner for everyone," Kelci offered. "Thanks, but I got a date," Joey stated and Chris declined as well. "I'm game, but I gotta make some calls first," Justin said and Wade agreed to come. "Johnny, will you join us?" Kelci asked with a smile. "I'd love to, but my wife already has me tied up." "Really?" "Well, I have some ointment that works wonders on rope burns. I'll bring it in tomorrow," Joey teased and all laughed. "What should we make?" Rachel asked after Johnny excused himself. "Lobster." "Pasta." "Garlic chicken." Kelci laughed at the guys' suggestions then found a compromise, "What about lobster with angel hair pasta and a garlic butter sauce?" "Yummy," Wade hummed as he rubbed his stomach. "I'll take that as a yes." The girls said good-bye and headed out to shower then find a fish market. They found Lonnie, Dre, Randy, and Mo in the gam room as they tried to leave the building and invited them. Lonnie, Randy, and Dre already had plans and Mo didn't like lobster, but they directed the girls out. Lonnie agreed to pick them up in 20 minutes to go to the store. They showered quickly and met Lonnie. Kelci's phone rang 10 minutes into the drive. "Hello?" "Hey, baby." "Hiya! What's up?" she smiled as she looked out the window. "AG is here and I was going to invite him for dinner since it's his birthday. That OK?" "Sounds good. We'll get a cake, too." "OK. Have fun. I love you," he whispered, but it still made her heart race. "I do, too. See you soon." "What's up?" Rachel asked from the front passenger seat as Kelci hung up. "AG is there and we need a birthday cake. Is that doable, Lonnie?" "Sure thing. The market we're going to for the pasta has a bakery." They collected the items thy needed and headed home. Kelci cooked the lobster by herself because Rachel kept hearing their ‘squeals of pain' (whatever!) and felt for them. Both cleaned them and were starting the pasta when the three NSYNCers, Wade and another man noisily entered the condo. "Hey!" "Hello, ladies," Lance smiled and kissed Rachel over the counter. "Do you need any help?" Wade offered as JC kissed Kelci's temple avoiding her messy hands. "Would you mind taking the trash out?" Kelci asked as she washed her hands. "I don't mind." "Hi! You must be AG. I'm Kelci." "I know. I've seen your films. Tell me...what are you doing with this punk?" AG teased and she laughed. "Hey! Be nice," JC pouted as Kelci hugged him. "Happy Birthday and thanks for joining us for dinner." ""Thanks for having me. I do have plans later though," he smiled and Lance introduced Rachel. They all chatted through the delicious meal. They told stories and cracked on each other for well over two hours and all pitched in to help clean up before they had a piece of cake. AG headed out a little later and Justin and Wade decided to go clubbing while Lance and Rachel went for a swim. "Looks like it's just us," JC yawned as Kelci dried the spoons. "What do you want to do?" "You need some sleep." "I'm fine. Besides you have to leave tomorrow afternoon so I wanna keep my eyes on you for as long as possible." They decided to watch a movie and settled in the bed upstairs. JC was asleep not 20 minutes into the movie and she chuckled as she combed her fingers through his hair on her stomach before eventually falling asleep after the evening news. |
