| Kelci and Rachel were looking around the furniture store deciding on what type of stuff to get for the house and Lonnie and Randy were hanging out close by. All of a sudden, Kelci darted to the left with a loud squeal and both men sprinted to her. "What?" Randy asked as he looked around for fans. "It's the crib Rock and Gina wanted but was discontinued. I have to call him for the address," Kelci stated excitedly as she dialed her cell phone. "Will you get a salesman, please?" Both men laughed as Rachel and a saleswoman approached. Guarding women who were shopping was certainly different than guarding pop stars. "Rock, it's C. I found your crib. I just need your street address...Orlando...it's fine...Rock..ROCK! It's fine. Randy and Lonnie are with me," she stated and rolled her eyes as she pulled a pen and tablet from her purse. "The address, please...Thank you...We'll chat soon. Bye!" "You gettin' a security lecture?" Rachel laughed. "Yes, but oh well. Hi! I'd like to have one of these shipped to this address, please." "OK, but would you mind taking the display model? It's all we have left and I'll take 25% off," the saleswoman offered. "That's fine, but I don't want any money on the packing list. It's a gift." "That's fine, Ms. Andrews. I'll have it packed up right away while you finish shopping." "Thank you," Kelci smiled and handed her the address before browsing with Rachel for another half hour. "I really think that smaller table for four would be ideal for the breakfast nook," Rachel confirmed as Kelci provided the shipping address for it. "I know. Just make sure you don't try to lift it." "I won't." "Think Lance will like your bedroom set?" Kelci laughed as she signed the credit card slip. "I think so, but at that sale price, I couldn't let it go," Rachel stated as she looked over her receipts. "And we can put my old set in one of the guest rooms." "That'd be cool." The saleswoman was practically drooling over the commission she was racking up and assured her customers that the crib would be delivered that Friday. Kelci and Rachel thanked her then collected Lonnie and Randy. They hit the mall next and Kelci found lots of things in the theme Gina had picked out. She racked up another $300 on her VISA before they left the first store and had to make a trip back to the Explorer with Lonnie before rejoining the others. "Any store you want to hit first?" Kelci asked as they sipped mocha chinos. "Victoria's." "OK. I do need some things." "I should say so. Are you sure you've only lost 15?" "Positive, but I think I've toned up more, too. This movie was very physical." "Yeah," Rachel nodded as they entered the lingerie store and the guards stopped dead. "What? You boys don't want to touch PANTIES?" "Rachel," Lonnie scolded and all laughed. "We'll wait here," Randy confirmed and took their bags. The girls laughed and headed inside. They split up a little, but could still see one another as they shopped. Kelci flipped through a rack of camisoles as she hummed. "Excuse me, but aren't you Kelci Andrews?" Kelci turned around and came face to face with a 6'2" handsome, well-built blonde man with a deep tan. "Yes, I am. Can I help you?" "Can I get your autograph?" "Uh...sure," she smiled and he handed over a snow white, fir covered thong. "Uh...did you already pay for this?" "No." "Well...I wouldn't feel right unless you had, so why don't I just...sign this piece of paper." "Fine, I guess. You wanna scratch your digits on that paper, too?" "Thank you, but I am seeing someone." "He doesn't have to know. You could just blow me right here and we'll call it even," he smiled and she scoffed as she handed the paper over. "Not gonna happen. Hey, Lonnie!" "What's up C?" the large man asked as he approached them, forgetting his embarrassment. "Nice meeting you," the fan stated and nearly ran. "Thanks, Lonnie. We'll wrap it up." "No problem, C." Kelci found Rachel already at the counter and they made their purchases. As they exited the store, Kelci saw the fan surrounded by others talking excitedly and looked at Randy's worried face. "Can I buy everyone lunch?" she offered. "Sure. Where?" Rachel asked. "Anywhere but this mall," Lonnie stated and quickly forced them toward the exit. "Mr. Sign-my-thong has a huge mouth." They decided on a small pizza joint Lonnie raved about and enjoyed the uninterrupted meal before heading back to the compound. |
