Kelci did take advantage of the large pool and warm weather. She swam for
nearly two hours, her skin soaking up the sun. She'd then returned to the
little condo and called Rachel, who had had a similar experience with Dre's
comments in Mississippi. Kelci felt better knowing it was him and not an
impression she gave out. It was almost 6 and she took a quick shower before
dressing casually in very low slung jeans she'd purchased the week before
that were covered in paint splatters. She pulled on a purple bra that matched
her panties then a dressier purple top that accentuated the purple in the
pants. She zipped her black ankle boots before pulling her curly hair up into
a ponytail and applied light make-up with just a touch of glitter.

"C?"

"Bathroom," she answered as she straightened her outfit and JC appeared in
the doorway.

"WOW!"

"Is this appropriate for dinner?"

He nodded and kissed her quickly, breathing her scent in deep. She draped her
arms over his and sighed happily. Finally they broke apart and he looked her
over again.

"How much weight have you dropped?"

"Not much," she shrugged.

"C, I can SEE the difference. How much?"

"Like...15."

"Dang! Guess there is a lot of action in the movie. You look all toned and
stuff," he grinned as she blushed. "You're cute when you blush, baby."

She pulled him in for another deep smooch and neither heard Lance and Joey
call for JC or head up the stairs. With her arms around JC's neck, Kelci's
toned, flat stomach showed a little and immediately caught Joey's attention,
letting a loud wolf's whistle leave his mouth.

"Sorry," Lance apologized when the couple looked at them. "We yelled but you
didn't answer."

"You were a lil' preoccupied by this gorgeous creature," Joey turned on the
charm. "I'm Joey."

"Hi. I'm Kelci, JC's girlfriend. Hello, Lance. Rach says hello. I spoke with
her a little while ago."

"Shall we head to dinner?" JC beamed, loving how girlfriend rolled off her
tongue.

"Sure, if everyone else is ready," she answered with her arms around JC's
waist. "Are Chris and J comin'?"

"They went ahead to get a table. I just couldn't wait to meet you."

"Whatever, Joe," Kelci smirked and squeezed JC's ass, making him chuckle.

"Let's go."

All four headed downstairs and climbed into the awaiting van where Dre, Randy
and Lonnie were. She said hello and fell into the seat between Randy and JC.
The ride to the restaurant was full of chatter including more JC ball bashing
and more Joey flirting. Kelci smiled at JC's arm around her shoulders,
satisfied that they knew the truth.

"What are the rules?" Kelci asked Randy.

"Rules?"

"Guidelines. Rock and I have them....like...no solo trips from the table...no
more than three fans at the table...do you have any?"

"Among us security guards, we agree on a number of fans at a time and
generally escort to the restroom, but we try not to hover....especially if
one of the guys is...prowling," Randy said and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Prowling? That's what you call it?" she laughed and rubbed JC's thigh as he
chatted with Lance.

"Yeah, but...your boy...barely even glances twice at the most gorgeous women."

"Really?"

"Yes and he jabbers on about you ALL the time."

Kelci smiled as she squeezed the inside of JC's thigh. He glanced down at her
and smiled as the van stopped. Everyone piled out, fans going crazy with
flashes snapping pictures bombarding them, and the group quickly ducked
inside.

"Hello, Kelci."

"Hi, J. How are you?" she asked as he hugged her quickly. "Hello, Chris. It's
nice to meet you."

"Pleasures all mine," he stammered as he took in her figure then stopped when
JC caught his eye.

"And you're Wade. Nice to meet you, too."

"Likewise," Wade smiled and everyone sat down.

The waiter appeared to take their drink order and dropped his pen three times
as he starred at Kelci. Orlando restaurants were used to seeing NSYNC around
town, but seeing Kelci seemed to floor everyone. He nearly dumped JC's wine
as he attempted to put it on the table and all the guys laughed.

"Just take a deep breath," Kelci coached as she touched the young man's arm.
"We don't bite. I promise."

"I just...LOVE you."

"I...um...well..thank you."

"I just...you're SO beautiful...and all," he gushed and the hostess
approached.

"I'm the owner. Is there a problem, Ms. Andrews?"

"No. I was just chatting and distracting our attentive waitor. I apologize."

The waitor blushed as she saves his job and went the rest of the way through
dinner only as their server.

"I love that," JC stated as he took Kelci's hand. "You make it personal with
everyone."

"Just imagine yourself in their shoes and treat them the way you would love
to be treated."

She enjoyed the meal and getting to know the guys. They all got along so well
and it made her think of Rachel. She noticed how often Lance brought her
friend up and his eyes danced when he said her name.

"You'll have to excuse Lance...he's in love," Chris cooed as he batted his
eyes.

"Shut up!"

"Lancy is all gooey inside for this girl, Rachel, who he assures us is real,"
Wade added at Kelci's side.

"Well...she IS real. She's my best friend."

"Is she HOTT!?" Joey asked.

"I think she's very pretty."

"I don't have a picture to show them," Lance sighed and Kelci pulled out her
wallet.

"Then here. We went to Hawaii last August for her birthday," Kelci said as
she handed over the picture of her friend in front of a beautiful waterfall.
"Why don't you keep that one, Lance?"

"You sure?"

"Positive. I have a duplicate of it somewhere and you need a girlfriend's
picture to brag to your friends."

"She truly is wonderful," he smiled and stared at the picture, seeming to
will her to materialize in person.

"She is very pretty," Wade offered.

"Before he goes into the speech about how great and smart she is," Chris
stated just as Lance opened his mouth. "Let's split the bill and go clubbing.
I'm not sleepin' alone tonight."

"Did you want to go out or not?" JC asked, knowing she'd had to get up early.

"I'll go for a little while if you want to."

"Sounds good."

"Just know that I'm not very good on the dance floor," she winced and he
laughed as he hugged her with one arm.

"I'm sure you're fine."

"I think maybe I can help," Wade stated once JC was involved in the bill.

"I really suck."

"You'll be fine and JC's a strong partner. Just relax and, if in doubt, just
follow what I do."

"Thanks, Wade," she smiled and patted his hand before they left the table.

The crowd was huge outside Gogo's, but they had no problems getting in the
exclusive club. Once inside, Joey grabbed her hand and pulled her to the
dance floor. The music was so loud that he couldn't hear her protests. He
started moving to the beat and she hesitated, not sure exactly what to do.
Finally she started moving and all he could do was laugh.

"I told you I suck," she shouted over the music.

"Come here."

Joey pulled her tight against his chest and moved her hips with his hands.
Her body rubbed against his and she looked around, seeing lots of people
dancing this way. The song switched to another fast one and she felt Joey
pull away. Another strong arm slipped around her and presented a drink.

"What is it?" she asked as she turned to face JC.

"Rum and coke. Dance with me."

She winced, but moved with him. He chuckled at her timidness then spent time
relaxing and teaching her. She sighed and looked up apologetically at him.

"I suck."

"Baby, you're fine. Just relax. I got you."

‘We Fit Together' by O-town played and he held her close, bouncing to the
beat. She slipped one leg between his and got more comfortable. She had one
arm around his shoulder and he hand one hand on her lower back.

They danced for a couple of hours with Kelci taking a turn with all the guys
before she yawned into JC's shoulder. They quietly said good night with some
cat calls about him getting some then headed home.
