| Kelci woke from a restless sleep at 8 the next morning and stretched. Tears sprang to her eyes when she realized that JC hadn't come to bed the night before. Becoming furious with herself, she wiped the tears from her cheeks and headed to the kitchen for coffee. The pot was almost full and she poured a cup before peeking over the couch to see where JC was. The couch was empty as was the bathroom. With a huge sigh, she sat on the couch and pulled her knees to her chest. Twenty minutes later, the door opened and JC entered with a bag of donuts. She watched him as he headed to her and placed the bag on the coffee table. "Good morning, beautiful," he smiled and rubbed his hand up her leg while she stared dumbfounded at him. "It's OK if we don't buy the house together." "But..." "Shh! I was hurt when you doubted us and got pissed off at your ability to dismiss our relationship so quickly. I'll just have to convince you otherwise." "I didn't mean it like that. I ....this has been so great...almost dream-like." "And you keep thinkin' you're gonna wake up at any moment, right?" She nodded and he took her coffee mug before pulling her into a tight hug. She hugged him back, suddenly realizing how much she had almost lost. Without hesitation she climbed onto his lap and wrapped her legs around his waist, getting as close to him as possible. "I'm not going away, baby," he chuckled as he rubbed her back. "My heart stays with you." She grinned and kissed his neck before pulling back to look up into his eyes. They were so full of love and his smile was incredible. Her heart raced when his hand caressed her cheek as he eyed her lips. He leaned in to kiss her and, just before their lips actually touched, she whispered, "I've fallen in love with you, Josh." She connected their lips before he could say anything, but the passion he felt from her was clear. They shared a slow, wet kiss and, before either realized it, both their shirts were on the floor. JC worked his way down to the small red mark he'd left the day before and sunk his teeth into the tender flesh. "Josh," she yelped, but held his head close to her skin. "It was barely there....and mine is deep purple," he informed before kissing her, their chests pressed together. "I lo.." "Shh! Just kiss me." The phone rang before he could protest and she grabbed her cell, but stayed on his lap. "Ah...Kelci. Tom Johnson here. Your message said to call you at this number to schedule an appointment for next week. What can we do for you?" her accountant asked. "Oh, hi, Tom. Are you insane to be workin' on a Sunday?" "Ha! No, I stopped in to check on some anniversary plans that are a surprise and saw your name. Just wanted to make sure things were OK." "They are," Kelci reassured, but had to fight to concentrate as JC nibbled all around her breast. "I found a house I want and, before I make an offer, I want to know exactly where I stand financially." "Oh, well...congratulations on finding one. How much do they want?" "$250 for the house and another $100 for the land, but we...I thought about countering with like $135 and $75, but I want it appraised and checked out first." "How much down?" "I don't know. Whatever is standard, but I'd like to look at the numbers on paper if that's due able while it's appraised and stuff. Plus I want to keep this quiet," Kelci stated then bit her lips as JC bit down on her nipple. "Well...you can call your lawyer and ask him to arrange the appraisal. I can take care of the mortgage, if you decide to buy." "I'm buying. There's no doubt on that and I'll call Mark on Tuesday when I'm back in LA. Do you have time to meet...say...Friday?" "If you don't mind a lunch meeting." "I'll check with the studio schedule and call you on Tuesday," she smiled and squirmed on JC's lap, causing him to moan. "Good luck with the vacation plans." "Thank you and we'll chat soon." "Thanks, Tom. Bye!" "You know I'll help if you need it," JC stated seriously as he laid her back on the couch. "I know. Thank you." "We should eat and stuff before we got too involved here." "Yeah....I just couldn't get close enough, you know?" "Yeah. Trust me, I know," he smiled and sat up, adjusting his bulge. "You want to aim to leave by...1?" "Or as soon as we eat since I packed last night. How much do you need to pack?" "I did it this morning." "OK. We'll eat and I'll shower real quick. Should we pack lunch or stop?" she asked as she pulled her pajama shirt back on. "I'll buy McDonald's on the road." An hour later, they were on their way with sunglasses on their eyes and smiles on their faces. The radio was kind of loud and JC sang along when he knew the words while Kelci mouthed them. They stopped for bathroom and snack breaks when needed and he even allowed her to drive some. As they crossed into Mississippi from Tennessee, Kelci dialed Lance's cell on JC's. He answered after the third ring, but was breathing heavy. "Did I interrupt something?" she laughed. "Yeah...we've been naked all weekend. Just can't get enough of that p..." "LANCE!" Rachel shrieked. "My God!" Kelci laughed and Lance continued, "Baby, you know you like it...especially the spankings." "Over-sharing. Listen, I won't keep you. Just thought we'd let you know we're in Mississippi now." "OK. We picked up the shrimp this morning so you'll have to help with cleaning them." "OK. Well, I'll let you get back to it, you nymphomaniac," Kelci cracked and JC laughed. "Ha! Like she'll let me," Lance scoffed playfully. "She's been makin' me clean all mornin'. I was vacuuming' when you called." "A clean nympho is STILL a nympho." "Whatever, C. Just drive safely and call if you get lost." "OK. See you soon!" |
