I'm Lying In My Bed All Alone
Called You Once Again No One Is Home
It's Raining Outside On Saturday Night
Turning Out The Light Again I Tried

Venessa dialed Justin's number for the 5th time. He wasn't answering. Today was the day that he come back from tour, and he promised her that he was going to come visit her. She hadn't seen him since the last month, when she went up to California to visit him, where he had a concert. She hoped everything was alright. It wasn't like Justin not to call her. But, then again Justin wasn't acting like his usual ways. She looked outside the window in her room. The rain was falling down hard, and the wind made the trees sway side to side often making the branches hit the window. Venessa turned off the light, and closed her eyes. 'Maybe he'll answer tomorrow.' she hoped.

My Friends Say I'm Too Good Too Good For You
And Maybe That Is True Well I Don't Care
What Do They All Know They Got It All Wrong
This Is So Unfair They're Playing Our Song

"Has Justin called yet?" Elaine asked as Venessa walked into the kitchen fully dressed. She looked like she had been up for hours.

"No, I still tried to call him and he's not answering." Venessa said sitting at the table where Elaine was having her breakfast.

"Maybe, he's trying to tell you something?" Elaine said before stuffing a spoonful of cereal into her mouth.

"Like what?" Venessa asked not wanting to hear this. Justin loved her. He even told her he loved her.

"Venessa, all I'm saying is that I think your too good for him. Who cares that millions of girls, want him. He obviously isn't treating you right." Elaine said walking her bowl to the dish, and washing it out.

"Whatever. I love Justin and he loves me too." Venessa said before running up the stairs, and slamming her room door. Maybe, Elaine was right. She turned on her radio, and began crying. They were playing her and Justin's song. She drew her knees up to her chin, and sobbed quietly to herself.

Nobody Gets Too Much Heaven No More
It's Much Harder To Come By
I'm Waiting In Line
Nobody Gets Too Much Love Anymore
It's As High As A Mountain
And Harder To Climb

Venessa thought about the good times that her and Justin had. Before, he would take her to the beach and they would walk along the shore. One time, Justin even took her to watch the sun rise at the top of a mountain. It was so beautiful. Venessa knew she was in love, and she thought Justin was too. But, in the past month all the changed. Justin had become distant, and not wanting to talk to her anymore. She never thought anything of it until now. Justin was avoiding her, but she didn't know why. If Justin didn't want to be with her anymore, it was going to be hard to find someone. Her and Justin had been going out for over 3 years, and they often talked about getting married. What Venessa couldn't understand was why, now all of a sudden, everything was changing.

Something's Going On What Is Wrong
I Want You To Be Here Why Won't You Come
And Spend Some Time With Me Can't You See
Have We Come Undone
Is This The End Of Our Song

Venessa closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep. About five minutes into the sleep the phone rang. She quickly awoke and answered the phone.

"Justin?" she asked hoping it was him.

"Hey baby." Justin responded. He sounded, unusual. It was like he was whispering.

"Where are you? You said you were going to call me, or come over." Venessa asked tears forming in her eyes. She missed him. Why couldn't he see that?

"I'm sorry Venessa. I was tired." Justin responded looking at the sleeping figure in his bed. He hoped she wouldn't wake up or there would be hell to pay.

"Well, are you going to come over now?" Venessa asked.

"I can't. I'm still really tired. I will see you in a few days." Justin responded. The figure in his bed turned over, but still didn't awaken.

"Why? What's going on Justin?" Venessa asked choking back her tears.

"Listen, baby I'll call you later. Okay?"

"No, not okay. You tell me now what's going on, or I swear it's over either way." Venessa screamed into the phone.

"Bye." Venessa Justin said awaiting her reaction.

"Yeah, for the last time." Venessa said slamming the phone back on its hook.

It's Much Harder To Come By
I'm Waiting In Line
Nobody Gets Too Much Love Anymore
It's As High As A Mountain
And Harder To Climb

How Do I Deal
With How I Feel
How To Reveal
Oooh What Is Real Love
As Another Day Fades Away
So I Say

Venessa walked over to where pictures of her and Justin were hung on her wall. She took one of them and looked at it. Those days were over with. Justin wasn't even man enough to tell her to her face, or to even explain. She dropped the picture on the floor and watched the glass shattered. Shattered, just like her and Justin. She took all the other pictures and dropped them on the floor. It was over with. Never again.
