| "OK your name please?" A man asked that I only assumed was the manager. "Holly Hampton." I answered a little nervous. I hate the looks these guys give. I thought to myself looking at the serious expression on the mans face. He asked me a couple more questions and I know I answered them correctly. "Do you have any music you would care to share?" The man asked looking down at the radio I was carrying. "Uh ... yeah ... here." I said handing my radio to the man. I started breaking down to one of *Nsync's old songs 'No Strings Attached' and I knew that the man was amazed at my moves. I of course left his mouth wide open when I left that room with more confidence than I have ever had before. I drove home in my white corvette. I still remember the day I got it. *FlashBack* "IM looking for something kinda cheap ... something that drives smooth ... an automatic ..." I never finished my sentence, I walked right into my beautiful car. It was used, but didn't look a day old. It was an automatic, cheap and drove very smooth. That very day I bought the car, signed some papers and drove home. *End of Flashback* I drove home listening to Linkin Park. I remember when I was fourteen years old and I went to Linkin Parks first concert ever. They were so hot! Now every time that my life got hectic, when I got angry, mad, sad or anything else I always turned on Linkin Park, and for some reason there voices always healed my soul. When I got home I walked into the house, "Where were you!" My father yelled storming out of the living room to so wonderfully greet me at the door. "I told you already, I went to try out to be--" I was cut off by my fathers sudden burst of outrage. "Your just a girl! Don't try and get your hopes up! Your not good for anything! So stop trying!" My father yelled. I took one angry look at him and stormed up to my room. I turned on Linkin Park as once again horrible child hood memories invaded my mind. *Nsync* "Wow, there were a lot of good dancers out there shaking their asses!" Joey said jumping around the room. They were all laughing and having fun. Everyone except for Justin Timberlake. His girlfriend of three years, coldly dumped him after all they had been through two months ago. When Justin finally thought he was over is one true love, he saw Britney two days ago and it brought him down, then when his friends tried to cheer him up the night before last, they treated Justin to the clubs, and he was having a good time! But then that all came crashing down when he saw Britney kissing another man and Justin knew that was the man that Britney had left him for. So ever since a couple days ago, Justin barely said a word. *Holly* Two days had passed, Holly finally got a call, and they informed her to meet them at the same place tomorrow at ten a.m. I made it! I thought to myself. "Daddy!" I started yelling through the house as if I were a three year old again. "Yes, Holly?" My dad asked Sophisticated. "I told you, I made the cut!" Holly said excitedly. "Congratulations." My father said walking out of the room. "IM leaving tomorrow night." I said as I fought back the tears. "Uh Huh." My father said walking up the stairs. 'Big Girls DON'T cry.' I thought to myself over and over again. I couldn't get it, why couldn't my father EVER be proud of me? I went upstairs to call my friends Krysta and Maddy. Krysta had medium length brown hair with gray beautiful eyes, she was 5'8 and was very slim. Maddy had black short hair and beautiful blue eyes, she stands 5'7 and also had a slim body. I told them everything and after an hour of talking, I decided to go out to eat. "Dad IM going to get a hamburger want anything?" I asked hoping he would join me. "No thanks, I make something." He answered. "OK, I love you." I said making my way out the door. "I love you too Holly, be careful." My father said. Although my dad was never going to win an award for being the 'best dad of the year' he did love me, even if he didn't know how to show me he loved me, he did and I knew it. And if that horrible thing hadn't happened to my mother such a long time ago, he would probably would have had many of those 'great dad' awards. He loves me, and that's good enough for me. I thought to myself as I drove to Jack In The Box. I ordered the mamas meal and sat down to eat. As I waited for my food, I noticed five very cute guys, that looked a lot like *Nsync ... but where's there bodyguard? Probably in just as bad a disguise as the Nsync guys were, there fanatics would see right through there hats and sunglasses! Oh well I guess that's what there body guards for huh? "Yo, I think she's onto us." Joey said checking Holly out. "She looks really hot though!" Joey said although nobody was listening to him. JC and Lance were talking about the tour. Justin was off in his own little world. Chris was of course playing with his food. *Holly* I paid for my dinner and headed home, I needed sleep, but first I needed a relaxing bubble bath, candles and all. After an hour of the bath, I brushed my teeth, washed my face and went to bed. *Morning* After dressing in loose sweat pants and a 'Hurley' shirt with my white Adidas, I put on some lip gloss, grabbed my bag and keys and drove back to where I auditioned nearly a week ago. I walked into the huge room and spotted everyone to the far left of the room. I started walking to where they were, "Hi IM Holly." I said introducing myself to everyone as I smiled. Everyone saw my smile and as if my smile were contagious they all smiled back, except for one Nsyncer imparticular, he gave a weak smile without looking up at Holly She shook everyone's hands except for Justin's, she gave him one quick look of confusion and Joey came up to her," Don't mind Justin, he's just got a little nit of a heart break." Joey explained. I shook my head in understandment. Holly looked at the four other woman that were also lucky winners. The choreographer, Wade Robson, taught the girls some moves, and of course I caught on easily. They put on the song 'Pop' and we started dancing to it. All of the young women had many different styles of dancing so they had the guys dance to it as well. They kept switching our partners until they found our matches. One Dancer, Melanie was with JC, Amy was with Chris, Amber with Lance, Elena with Joey, and Holly with Justin. They all worked hard for hours. Until it was time to wash up and get ready to go. "Hey Holly, want to go out to eat with us and the other dancers?" JC asked me as I was packing my stuff. "Sure." I said when I realized how hungry I was. "All right tell me when your ready to go." JC said. I had gone to the bathrooms to change into my tight leather pants, a white tube top, exposing some skin, and a see-through white jacket. I put back on my locket from which my mother had given my such a long time ago with both of our pictures in and I put on my Black boots. I dabbed on a little bit of make up. As I headed out of the bathroom. I heard whistling I blushed a little," Sorry, I was planning on hitting the clubs." I tried to explain as to why I had this chosen to wear after dancing. "So, do you have a car?" Joey asked me out of no where. "Yeah." I answered. "That's to bad." Joey said. "Why?" I asked smiling, causing everyone else listening to smile. "Because that means I can't drive you." Joey flirted. I blushed a little as we all headed to our cars we all decided to go to 'Hometown Buffet.' *Resturaunt* "So, how old are all of you?" Lance asked. "IM seventeen." I answered after everyone else had. "Well, I thought you went clubbing, how can you when your only seventeen?" I looked down and blushed at Joey's question. "Why Holly! I am shocked! You of all people with a fake ID?" Chris joked as everyone laughed. "SHH!" I said smiling as I put my finger to my lips. "Don't tell no one!" I joked as everyone laughed. |
