| Chapter Sixteen Holly woke up the next morning feeling light headed and not sure why. She decided to ignore it and took a shower as she got ready for the day, today she was turning 16, and she couldn't wait to see her three best friends. She dressed in black leather pants and a white tube top, she put her hair up in a twist ponytail and then added some make--up. She walked down the stairs to see her step mom and her dad. "Happy Birthday!" They both said as they handed me my favorite breakfast biscuits with gravy on top of them with a glass of orange juice. "Thank you!" Holly said happily as she started to eat, when she was finished she ran back upstairs, brushed her teeth and decided to check her email. she had three emails, one was from Mikaela: Hey Girl! Happy sixteenth birthday! Love ya! JC: Happy birthday sweetie! Justin: Hey babygirl, I hope your enjoying your birthday so far:) HAPPY SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY! With love Jay Holly smiled to herself and decided to go outside and walk around the block. When she came back everyone was there, her family, and her new friends. They were all enjoying there selves and it was time to open presents. After she opened them she ran to her red mustang. "Thanks so much!!" Holly said giving everyone hugs. Justin finally got Holly alone and asked her to go to the front yard with him. They sat on the porch swing as Justin put Holly on his lap. "Happy birthday babygirl." Justin said sweetly as he handed her a small box. Holly opened it and saw a silver band with baby blue diamonds that made a butterfly. "Justin!!" Holly squealed, she loved butterflies and she really loved the ring. "It�s a promise ring, do you like it?" "I love it!" Holly said as she passionately kissed Justin. Holly and Justin walked hand and hand to the back yard where the party was and sat down with JC and Mikaela to eat. The night was soon over and Holly asked her dad if she could stay over at Mikaela�s he allowed her and she went with all the other three to the beach. They all decided to have there own party at the beach, just the four of them. Justin and JC had some alcohol, Mikaela and Holly had a couple wine coolers but that was all. The guys were getting a little drunk so they decided to take the guys away from the beers. "JC come with me." Mikaela said pulling JC with her to the secluded side of the beach. "I love you." JC whispered as they started to kiss. "Justin, come here!" Holly giggled. Justin sat down beside her and whispered the three words he had been wanting to say for so long, "I love you." Holly heard his words and never responded. Justin began to worry and didn't understand. The night went by and soon Holly went over to Mikaela�s house. ~*~Next day~*~ Mikaela and Holly decided to go over to the guys house and ask them if they wanted to go to the beach. After getting dressed in their swim suits they all decided to walk to the beach since it was only a couple blocks away. "Holly...I need to talk." Justin said. Ever since he told Holly he loved her, and she never responded he couldn't get it off his mind. "OK, about what?" Holly asked. "Well, last night...I told you something that I don�t just tell everyone." Justin said not sure how to say it. "What did you say?" Holly asked although she knew. "I told you I loved you..." Justin said hurt that Holly didnt say it back. "Right, and you were drunk, so you didn't mean it, now that that�s cleared up lets go." Holly said trying to change the subject. "But I did mean it." "Damnit Justin don�t do this!" holy said as she felt the tears spring to her eyes. "Do what?" Justin asked confused. "You�re screwing with my head! You don�t think other guys haven�t said those words to me?" Holly asked as tears trailed down her eyes. "Babygirl talk to me, what do you mean?" Justin asked. Holly grabbed Justin�s hands and pulled him to the sandy area by themselves, "Justin I don't want you to hurt me." Holly said as the tears strolled down her eyes. "I�m not going to hurt you. I love you...do you love me?" Justin asked, afraid of the answer, he wiped Holly�s tears as she looked away. "Babygirl...do you love me?" Justin asked again as he felt a cold lump in his throat. Holly didn't know what love was and she wasn't sure how to answer. "I don�t know..." Holy replied. Justin was about to leave when Holy begged him to sit back down. "Justin I didn�t mean it like that! I meant, i don�t know what love is, i know what family love is, but I don�t know any other love." She said. "Never mind then." Justin said hurt as he began to walk away Holly stood up and said, "If love is when that person is always on there mind and they cant think anything but good about them, if loves when I fill weird inside whenever your around me, if love is when i miss you even before you leave, then yes Justin, I do love you." Holly answered. Justin turned around and walked up to Holly. "I love you to." He said as he kissed her. |
