The law says that you are allowed to make copy's of any media as long as they are for private use. Lets say you have a copy of SSX Tricky for PS2, you legally can make a copy for yourself just incase the O.G one breaks or something. This is related to this as you must have an O.G copy to legally have a ROM. So in other words it is illegal to have a ROM without an O.G copy of the game. The risk is yours so its on you |
