St. Isaacs Cathedral in St. Petersburg, Russia. St. Isaacs is one of the largest domed churches in the world, and now serves as a museum. The cathedral was a frequent target of enemy fire during WWII and many marks can still be seen on the exterior of the building. "Yahoo!" For those of you who have seen Stanley Kubrick's "Dr. Strangelove," the above was my personal tribute to the director. Outside of the Russian Military Museum was assembled a collection of missiles, tanks, radar equipment and sundry other tools of destruction designed to bomb capitalism back to the stone ages (where communism had already returned Russia to). At the end of "Dr. Strangelove," Slim Pickens rides a nuclear warhead, bronco-style, down to Russia... and in a moment of inspiration, I recreated the scene in the very heart of Russia. Bravo! Bravo! St. Basil's Cathedral on Red Square in Moscow, Russia.
