Wild dog
Yet another endangered species. Wild dogs live as social animals and hunt in packs. They use the white tips of their tails as signaling flags during the hunt. People in general do not like them, because after they've chased and caught their prey it is literally torn apart while still alive. Wild dog pups are looked after by all members of the pack and they feed them by regurgitating food for them. The pups beg for this food by whining and biting the corners of the adults mouths to encourage them to regurgitate. Pups only start to hunt when they are about two to three months old and they are allowed to eat first after a kill.. |
