Although they are scavengers they are successful opportunistic hunters as well and can kill medium to large sized prey.  They have a Matriarch leading the clan and the females dominate the males.  It is very difficult to distinguish between the males and females because even the females have penis-like organs.

When the cubs are born, they are born with teeth and a very high level of the male hormone "testosteron" and they are literally born fighting and would attack their siblings just after birth resulting in the death of the weaker ones.
