Ever since our dear friends from the USA, Gary and Susan came to visit us a while ago, I have been fondling an idea in my mind.  Why not change my life completely and do what I've always been dreaming of.

I am offering you the opportunity to visit South Africa for the dream holiday of a lifetime.  How about it? Would you allow me to be your host and guide? Allowing me the opportunity to do so, I can promise you, would be one of the best decisions you've ever made.  We would tour the country together for a few days, during which time you won't be bored for a second.

You would be enjoying traditional South African cuisine and it will be a total intercultural experience.  I believe our friends in the USA, Gary and Susan could bear testimony to that.  We've met on the internet and they came to visit us in 1999 and we'll be best friends for life...  You are welcome to contact them via e-mail and find out more about what it was really like visiting us.

I would want your stay to be as pleasant as can be and at such reasonable rates that you would like to come back here often.  That is why I would like to know as much as possible about your vacation habits, for example how much you spend on your annual vacation, and for how many days you normally go on vacation, and to see if I can improve, if not match that.  Your feedback would help me a great deal to get organized and to prepare different vacation packages to suit your exact needs. 

The package would include traveling from and to the airport, accommodation, wholesome meals and traveling to all the different venues we would visit.  You would only have to sit back and enjoy the hospitality of our country.

Your currency is much more valuable than ours, so I believe you would be surprised to see what you could get over here for the same amount of money you would normally spent on a vacation at home.

Furthermore, I don't want the people who would come and visit to be treated as strangers.  There are so many tour operators and guest houses that are only in the business for the money, they would drive around with their clients saying, "and on your left, ladies and gentleman we have a giraffe", and then just drive past.  No, I would want my clients to say at the end of a wonderful day, "JC, we've had another wonderful day out with you!".  I would want you to enjoy yourselves so much that you would be my advertisements back home and that your family and friends would all want to come because of what you have experienced...  

Recollecting what we have seen with the Americans and a Canadian in "Kruger Park"...

I would accommodate about six people at a time.  With six people I could give very personal attention and I believe I could keep the rates down.
