Our most common otter species found all over the subcontinent where there are
enough constant water. Can even be found along the coast as long as there
are fresh drinking water around. They feed on crabs, frogs, fish (many a
angler already wanted to kill them for stealing their catches), small mammals,
birds, reptiles and even mollusks and octopuses.
