They prefer dense bush-like vegetation and occur on the Natal coast
northwards. I've watched them many times while doing guard duty on the
Bluff in Durban and I've seen them already at St. Lucia and at Swadini nature
resort.
They always forage in a troop and constantly chatter amongst
themselves. They eat anything from insects, frogs, lizards, birds
eggs and even fruit and berries. They too stand on their hind legs
when interested in something and when alarmed the whole troop would run for
cover.
