Hamburgers

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground round
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 to 1/2 C mashed potatoes
  • salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients. Shape into paddies. Fry or broil til done. These are very tender hamburgers and not suitable for the barbecue pit. I've tried, they fall right through the grate.
I remember having to put a potatoe on to boil whenever my mom said we were having hamburgers.
