| Sherri Overholser - keyboards, vocals, percussion It all started here. Great singer and versatile keyboard player. Put to rest any fears about mixing electronics with acoustic songs. Her vocal ability dictated about half the song list in the early years. Steve Adkins - drums, vocals, harmonica, mandolin Best drummist I've worked with. Helped me figure out where I wanted to go with the band and he laid the groundwork for all future drum parts. Lucky for us, he's still willing to sit in on occassion. Steve Baker - bass, vocals, mandolin, guitar One of my favorite guys to gig with. He was also in the trenches at the beginning and made me realize that more "lead" bass parts could help make up for the lack of lead guitar. Bob Schroeder - bass, vocals, drums, percussion, guitar Terrific musician, experienced and very professional. Certainly brings lots of extra fire power to the group whenever he sits in. Currently with the Flyer Band. Andy Florez - keyboards, vocals, guitar Amazing natural player. With just a word or two, he knew exactly what I was looking for from ragtime piano to reggae organ to string parts. I Learned a lot playing with him. Currently touring with a band out of Nashville. Jason Bruns - steel drum, percussion Our first steel drummist. Fresh out of college, Jason helped me to figure out how to use steel drum and percussion. Currently teaching and performing in Los Angeles. Dave Robinson - drums, vocals Huge asset to the group. Very lucky to find such an experienced drummer who's willing to play the unusual drum parts we require. Great stage presence and he sings too? Damn. He plays with the Indoorfins. Tony Newman - bass, vocals Easily the best bass tone of anyone I've played with & technique to match. Similar tastes in music (jazz, prog rock) I only wish we could get away with playing more of that kind of music. Currently w/ Chez Cheeze. Bill Endres - drums, percussion, vocals Bill brought a wide array of electronic drum and percussion sounds to the group. Very nice to have kit drum and percussionist in one man. Strong lead vocals were a plus. He's currently working with Double Kik. John Castetter - bass, vocals From my old band Trilogy from Cinti. The consumate professional always comes prepared. Great stage presence. Top notch bassist, currently with The Menus. Craig Homan - bass, vocals Key member of the band for the last couple years. Craig nails the bass parts (pretty shocking chops considering he's only 12 yrs. old) and he's becoming a capable vocalist as well. Gus Wintzer - bass, vocals Great guy to gig with - he loves that bar scene. Able to belt out those bass parts even though he only plays intermittently. Harmonies always a plus but how 'bout that lead vocal on Folsom Prison? Who knew? Brad Barton - drums Experienced skins-man. Able to pick up drum parts quickly. Very strong fundamentals. He can multi task with the best of them. Currently playing with Warehouse Sound Project. Jay Koupal - steel drums, percussion Excellent percussionist and steel player. I've got to hand it to Jay for sticking it out and really helping finalize (to the note) all the steel arrangements. Jimmy Fahey - steel drums, percussion, drums Probably the most thoroughly integrated percussionist we've played with. Partly because of the efforts of those who came before him but also because he actually worked out the charts on his own. He'll be missed. Nancy Bonifas - guitar, vocals, percussion, mandolin The latest addition to the band, Nancy is our new secret weapon. Probably the best pure singer I've worked with, she can really belt it out. Also, a 2nd guitarist has led to a whole new approach for Junction. |
