Two-step Sparring

Two-sparring is similar to the three-step variety you encounter in the lower kup , However, in this version, more advanced techniques are used and the attacker performs just two prearranged techniques.  The attacker always begins from right L-stance and forearm guarding block, and the defender from parallel ready stance.  The defender blocks the first attack and counters the second with kihap to complete the sequence.
1    Attack     Right leg forward in walking stance
                      Right high fore-fist punch
                      Middle front kth left leg (land left leg forward)

     
Defence Right leg back walking stance, Left rising block,
                      Left leg back walking stance, Low X block

     
Counter High twin fist vertical punch
2   Attack     Right leg forward fixed stance
                      Right middle side punch
                      Left leg middle turning kick landing in sitting stance

     
Defence Right leg back L stance, Left upward palm heel block,
                      Left leg back L stance, Right outer forearm waist block

     
Counter Right back elbow strike to right L stance
                      (facing in the opposite direction to strike)
3   Attack     Right leg middle front kick
                      Left leg forward walking stance
                      High twin fist vertical punch

     
Defence Right leg back walking stance,
                      Low X block, left leg back walking stance,
                      HIgh outer forearm wedging block

    
Counter Grab opponents shoulders, left knee strike to abdomen.
                
4   Attack     Right leg forward into walking stance
                      High section flat finger tip thrust
                      Left knee up into a middle side piercing kick

     
Defence Right leg back walking stance,
                      Rising block with knife hand,
                      Step back in left L-Stance and parrying the kick with an inward palm
                      block.

    
Counter Front kick to attacker's coccyx
                      Land forward and perform twin punch to the opponent's kidneys
                
5   Attack     Spin clockwise & perform a back kick
                      Step forward in walking stance,
                      High section palm strike to face,   

     
Defence Right leg back into L-Stance,
                      Left palm down into waist block,
                      Step back in left L-Stance, and perform an inward moving forearm
                      block

    
Counter Slide right foot to the outside of the attacker's left and take up
                      Walking stance, Apply a reverse knife hand to solar plexus
                
6    Attack     High right turning kick
                      Step forward into left walking stance,
                      Thrusting out a high left arc hand,   

     
Defence Left leg back into sitting stance,
                      Checking the kick with a twin straight forearm block.,
                      Step back into right L-Stance and deflect the arc hand with a left
                      palm heel hooking block
                     

    
Counter Pull left hand towards to you.  Pick up your left foot and thrust it out
                      in a middle side kick.
                
7    Attack     Step forward into right fixed stance
                      High right side fist,
                      twist hips anti-clockwise, reverse turning kick to middle section  

    
Defence  Left L-Stance, perform twin outer forearm block,
                      Slide back and guard with knife hand,
                                   
   
Counter   High Reverse turning kick
               
8    Attack     Right middle side piercing kick
                      Left knife hand strike,
                     
     
Defence Right foot back, thumb-side of your forearm in a waist block,
                      Knife hand guarding block,
                     
    
Counter Jump forward into X-stance, crossing your right foot behind the left
                       and flexing your knees.  As you land deliver a high back fist strike
                       against the attacker's temple
