how does it work? |

EMS (Electronic Muscle Stimulation) technology provides fast guaranteed results. During exercise the brain sends messages down the spinal cord causing muscles to contract and expand, the primary stimulus needed for muscles to enlarge, become stronger and achieve greater endurance.
Also by stimulating nerve axons (long outgrowths of a nerve cell body) EMS targets specific muscle groupings, some of which cannot be stimulated voluntarily or through conventional excerise. Used on its own or in conjunction with conventional training programmes EMS targets individual muscle tone and definition.
You can get various makes of EMS sets ranging from 40.00 - 100.00. The number of pads also differs from 6 to 10. The best on the market would have to be the Bodi-Tek (100.00 approx.)
You simply attach the pads to the required muscle groups and switch it on. You will feel a tingling sensation followed by a series of powerful contractions. (around 1400 per 30 minuted session). As tiny electronic pulses replicate the signals sent by the brain to the nerves, causing your muscles to work exactly as they do during strenous excercise |

Super Toning |
Super toning contracts & relaxes the muscles upto 1400 times in half an hour (the equivalent of 1400 stomach crunches in 30 minutes)
The flexibility of the EMS pads means that you can tome almost any area of the body from your chest and abs to your thighs and calves |

Body Building |
Similar to training in the gym, by using resistance training with EMS you will build muscles in the targeted areas. By resisting against the contractions you promote rapid muscle growth. |

Mega Power - Exposive |
To increase your power in short sharp bursts you would train in the gym using high repettitions and short rest periods. Using EMS you can simulate this training on targeted muscle groups using 100% of the fast & slow switch muscle fibres to achieve fast & effective results. |

Speed Increase |
Using EMS can greatly enhance your speed whereas convential excercise only uses approximately 70% of a muslces capacity. EMS stimulates 100% of the fast & slow twitch fibres. THis means better faster results, thus increasing your speed whatever your sport. |
