| HISTORY: The storyline takes place during the time that he was recording his solo album. He and this girl have been best friends since they were in first grade, and the two have always had a brother/sister type relationship. She was always an only child and he was always the brother she never had. He was the closest thing she ever had to a father as well, after her parents got divorced when she was eight. Even though Justin has had past girlfriend, he's always had feelings for this girl, but never told her or conveyed those feelings for fear she might not feel the same way about him. She also had her eye on JC for a long while, which also kept him from telling her. This girl has never had a boyfriend, but she too has felt a slight attraction to Justin. It was hidden deep down inside but it was still there. STORYLINE: Now, as he starts writing his song, "Take It From Here," which was written especially for her, he is considering in finally revealing his feelings for her. She on the other hand is dealing with more than she can handle. Victor Jensen, her old boss that she used to work for, is back, and he wants to make her his. She used to work for Victor as his secretary a few years back, but quit on account of him sexually harassing her. No matter how hard she tries to resist his sexual advances, he just won't get the picture. Justin doesn't know any of this is going on, but he suspects that something weird is going on because of her mood swings and the bruises visable on her body. She gets defensive about it, but doesn't tell him the truth because she can't afford for him to get hurt by Victor himself. In an effort to keep away from Victor, she stays close to Justin's side, every minute of everyday, which makes Justin think she has feelings for him as much as he does for her, especially since she doesn't want to be anywhere but near him. Her being near him all the time results in her losing a job she has worked so hard to obtain, along with neglecting her studies which doesn't sit well with Justin or her mother. The more time she spends with Justin, those feelings inside her grow stronger and stronger, and one lonely night in the studio, she and Justin share their first kiss. He reveals that he loves her, but she doesn't know what to say so she doesn't say anything. Suddenly, once Victor learns that she's best friends with Justin, he realizes that the only way to get close to her is to pose as a public relations person or someone else who can hang around the studio and get close to both the girl and Justin, but mostly to the girl. Once the girl realizes what he's doing, she then starts spending more and more time away from Justin, which makes him think that she doesn't love him like he thought she did, and it also gives Victor the opportunity to earn his trust. By the time the girl tries to explain to Justin what a bad man Victor is, he doesn't believe her which puts their relationship in jeopardy and after a huge fight, the girl gets kidnapped by Victor. While she is in the man's hands and he tortures and hurts her, she tries mercilessly to get in contact with Justin, and to escape in whatever way she can. Justin gets worried about her so he calls her cell phone numerous times, but because Victor has the girl tied up, she can't answer it. Finally, Victor answers the phone and alerts Justin that he has her and he'll never see her again. Justin then gets the police involved and together, they try and locate the girl's whereabouts. By the time they come to her rescue, she has escaped Victor's clutches but is in bad physical condition. and then must be hospitalized. While she is hospitalized and is reunited with Justin, she tells him that in the time she was kidnapped, she realized that she can't afford to live her life without him and wants to be with him. Then, the day she is discharged from the hospital, he proposes to her. |
