| HISTORY: The storyline takes place just before Justin went on his "Justified/Stripped" tour, and when JC began working on his solo album. The girl grew up with Justin, so she's known JC since Justin started on the Mickey Mouse Club. Over the years, she developed a huge crush on JC and always had feelings for him, but as he began dating other girls, she became jealous and wanted to be with more and more. He eventually conveyed to her that they couldn't be anything more than friends, because of the seven year age difference and because he didn't want to ruin the friendship they had. About a month before *NSYNC went off on their Celebrity tour, JC began seeing this girl in a new way and started developing feelings for her he never knew he had. Then, after a car accident landed the girl in the hospital, she fell in love with the doctor that was taking care of her. The two dated for a few months, but in the time that they were seeing each other, things were stressful because of the demands of this man's job, and also because JC became insanely jealous. So jealous that he made his feelings for the girl abundantly clear, even when her boyfriend was around, giving her boyfriend the impression that something was going on between the girl and JC. One night at a club when the girl was out with her boyfriend, JC approached her but because the girl thought that JC was trying to make another pass at her again, she told him to leave her alone. He kept pressing her that they needed to talk but she wouldn't hear of it. She loved her boyfriend and not JC, and tried to convey it to him numerous times before but he still loved her too. That night at the club, her boyfriend noticed how stressed he was making her and in which case, he stepped in and told JC to leave them alone. This resulted in the two men getting into a fight and JC punching the girl's boyfriend. At that point, the girl's trust in JC went right out the window, and their friendship was no more. STORYLINE: Now, almost one year later, the girl and her boyfriend have broken up. It was not only JC's jealousy that ended their relationship, but more so, the man's job as a doctor that demanded him around the clock. Ultimately, the man chose his job over her which left her crushed. The girl and JC haven't spoken to each other since that night at the club, but Justin has been trying hard to get them to make amends, but because of the girl's stubborness, he's failed. Finally, Justin has come up with the perfect solution. He promises the girl he'll help her record a demo tape that he'll ultimately give to Johnny Wright to listen to in hopes of landing her a record deal, which has been her dream since she was litttle. When he sets up a day and time for them to meet at a recording studio, she arrives to find JC there instead of Justin. Justin has previously called JC up and told him that he wanted to meet with him at the same place to discuss a few new tracks, tracks that he had started to work on and wanted his opinion on. Suddenly, the two have to talk to each other. Even though they are at odds with each other, JC is nice enough to offer to help her record her demo. She refuses and walks out. Or at least she tries to walk out, but once she realizes that they are locked in ( all on account of Justin's little trap ), the two end up having to spend the night there and in that time, have to deal with each other's presence and try to reconcile. She starts to loosen up and can comfortably talk to him without hating him. He offers again to help her record her demo tape, and despite her hesitancy, she goes along with it. However, after all that time in trying to get things perfect with her voice and the song, she gets frustrated with him, and by the time Justin comes to let them out the next morning, she hates JC more than when she first got there. Justin goes to plan B, and by the time he gets ready to leave the girl to go on tour, he then tells the girl he wants her to be safe while he's gone, and with someone he trusts so she then must spend the next couple of months at JC's house. Her mother is away on vacation and the rest of the guys are out of state so she clearly has no other choice. Despite her demands that she'll be fine on her own, Justin won't hear of it. In the first week that she's staying with JC, the two don't talk much to each other and get into fights on and off. Then one day, she is passing by the door to JC's basement studio and overhears him singing a song ( "Lose Myself" from his Schizophrenic album ), a song that he wrote especially about her, and it starts to make her feel guilty. She creeps into the studio and asks him to play it for her again, and by the time it's finished, she is touched. It is then that the pair begin to reconcile, and by the time they become actual friends again, those old feelings for each other soon start to develop and they are falling in love. JC then helps the girl into making her dreams come true, gives her demo tape to Johnny and suddenly, she becomes a star. Together, the two record a duet together, music video included and makes appearances here and there to make their relationship public. |
