Started as a Bible study in early year 1984, the community bible study located at barangay Concepcion Marikina was composed of 2 families headed by Mrs. Julita Aristorenas and some individuals who had one burning desire in their hearts... To know God and study HIS word. This same desire quickly grew in the hearts of its members and by August of 1985 officially became the Universal Pentecostal Church Marikina Chapter.
Now attended by more than 12 families coming from different parts of Marikina, Pasig and as far as Bulacan; the name was formally changed to Jesus Christ the Savior Christian Fellowship (JCS Marikina).
The church was blessed with a daughter church in the late 1980's and with another daughter church in Montalban early 2005. The fellowship also conducts Prayer Meetings, Bible Study sessions, Cellgroups and Equiping sessions on a regular basis.
