Introduction:
Name: Cornelia a.k.a.  Corn

Bio: Navajo gal from Shiprock, NM.  I grew up around horses, and I was a daredevil with every horse.  I have had love for horses since I can remember.  How I got into this; my husband and I got a 9 year old boy to raise and he wanted to be a cowboy.  I told him it's a big responsibility to own your own horse.  After much interogation, and a new place here we are doing something we love at home.  Train horses.

My helper:  His name is Troy, he is 13 now.  A wonderful well mannered young man.  You just have to see him to know him.  Check out his
website.

Equine Education: Certified Instructor, Equine Science.

Experience: Gentling, and proper effective handling 4 years.  The old cowboy way, 3 years.  Reconditioned problem horses, and start young horses or wild horses (Mares, Gelding, Stallion).  Roping, and barrel horse.

Horse training: Daily procedure: Feed, clean stable, groom, thoroughly pre-check, stretch, light massage, 20-30 min. training, back to light massage, pamper, vet/farrier manner check.  IF the horse need more riding time, we go to the arena or to open range and ride 1-2 hours (No harsh running, just getting use to the trees, bushes, and small animals.) $100.00/week min.  Pending on the status and temperament of the horse.

Horsemanship Course: Done at my home. Ages 6+, 2 hours a day on-hands training in a thorough and comprehensive training.    I normally keep an untrained horse so students understand not all horses are the same.  $20.00/hr.
