Defiance County

Stop 1: Defiance
This is Second Street approaching Clinton Street in downtown Defiance. Five state highways (15, 18, 66, 111, and 424) come together at this intersection.
Is the 4-plex of OH 15, 18, 66, and 424 actually a 5-plex with OH 111? The answer is no. It ends at the intersection of Second and Clinton Streets. But at least the five came together, as was illustrated above.
This is the standard street sign for Defiance.
Some of these older embossed street signs can be found in the downtown area.
This is northbound Clinton Street, on which four state highways travel (15, 18, 66, and 424).
This is the sign assembly for the 4-plex. Notice that westbound OH 15 and 18 travel in the same direction as eastbound OH 424! BTW, that white thing in the tree (under the OH 424 marker) with the green and gold design seems to be a shopping bag from a Sterling convenience store, a chain that's popular in northwest Ohio.
This is North Clinton Street crossing the Maumee River. It is kind of a combination of the previous two photographs.
This is North Clinton Street on the north end of town.
This is the interchange where OH 66 meets US 24 north of town. The control cities for US 24 are Napoleon (eastbound) and Antwerp (westbound).

Stop 2: The Noble-Tiffin Township Line
This is the standard street sign for rural Defiance County. The county highway number is listed after the street name here. Notice the block numbers beneath the sign (in thousands).
