The Ancient mysteries of croz
The Rosetta Stone was found in 1799 by Napoleon's troops as they scoured the Nile Delta for skimming stones. The stone, which contains writing in hieroglyphics, demotic script and Greek, famously aided Jean-Franois Champollion to decipher the ancient Egyptian script for the first time in 1822.
Whilst the Rosetta Stone unlocked the symbol based language of hieroglyphics, it has taken a recent archeological find to unlock the secret of the stone's message. Australian researchers have found what they believe to be a companion tablet to the stone. The tablet comprising of a primitive etching of an ugly six-armed figure has breathed new life into the Rosetta Stone's message of old:
"A touch of one of the six arms of Croz shall transport you to a weird realm..."
