Histoplasmosis
M-G-G staining reveals necrotic tissue, with faintly visible small round double walled structures, suggestive of fungal elements. Gomori's silver staining reveals numerous small round or oval fungi, suggestive of Histoplasma capsulatum. Elisa testing confirmed histoplasmosis, and patient is receiving antifungal chemotherapy.
