Voided urine, 34-year old female, with kidney transplant 6mos previously: heavy crystaluria
The smears show many large aggregates of several types of crystals, probably calcium oxalate, impeding an accurate analysis of the cellular material, and many red cells. A follow up examination one week later was clear of crystals and the search for “decoy cells“ was negative.
