See Chapter 3 - Michael W. Stanley : Diagnosis of Pulmonary Infections  pages 65-126
On page 116, Fig 3.43 shows a pseudo-Gaucher cell in Giemsa-stained lymph node FNA smear. It is remarkably similar to our May 2000 case!
The clear cylinders within the macrophage cytoplasm represent negative images of bacilli. Their cases are also from AIDS patients with mycobacterioses.

See Chapter 5 - Michael W. Stanley : Diagnosis of Primary and Secondary Pulmonary Malignancies.
On pages 166-167, Stanley discusses the diagnosis of metastatic breast carcinoma, and the "difficulties" the American pathologists had in previous works to make confident diagnosis with Romanovsky-stained material.
