It opens in top form with a trailer (featuring the best bits) of PS1, then its straight into the films with Chan being demotted for his actions at the mall in the original. This intercuts fantastically with a group of trucks speeding down the street.
The story is good with 2 sets of bad guys. The gangsters from the original (who are mainly used for fights and comedy) and the mad bombers.
Chan leaves the force and is talked back into investigating these bombings, leaving May on a plane who flys away alone and without her passport.
Again malls get treated badly, one is blown up here in a highly suspenceful scene with Chan returning (in slow motion too the mall moments before the explosion.
May is again treated badly again this time she is kidnapped and Chan must wear a bomb vest and pick up ransom money for the bad guys.
All an all an amazing film (one of my all time favourites ). Watch out for the playground fight, firework factory fight, a talented way of crossing the road, a killer remote control car, crossing a road using bus roofs, and many more highlights.
Action packed and well paced.
