Image: At times dull too look at. Filled with greys. A bit bland or maybe its just meant too be dark.
Soundtrack: The music is similar and seems too be from at times, PS3.
Story: Nothing too original. Its only really there too keep the action going. Although unusually downbeat ending is much welcomed.
Acting: Pretty good, especially Yeoh.
Action: People rave about this, but I think although great I was expecting more. The final fight is great as is the opening one. In fact all the action scenes are great but, I don`t know I just expected more.
Film: It was fine well paced and everything. The Jackie cameo midway was distracting, out of place and strangely annoying. There are no outtakes at the end but this would have ruined the downbeat ending.
All in all I can`t say why I was disapointed. Still worth a watch because it is pretty good and I find it improves with viewing.
