| Well, school is out!! Conrad went to Science North for his school trip, he had an excellent report card and his teacher said he was "God's gift to our class", he is now starting basketball camp and is becoming very interested in forensics! Caelan had an awesome graduation (mom,grandma,grandpa and Conrad all went), he received another perfect report card, he will be going to school full days in September, and he's learning to swim! Caelan will be starting Judo and grappling in a couple of weeks. The lake is nice and warm now (warm enough to swim), we've been canoing and rafting and are looking forward to snorkeling around the beaver lodges this summer. Karrie and her friends (Siva and Alexis) came down for a few days. We went to see Scooby Doo with them and watched the Elliot Lake Canada Day parade. Karrie made dinner for us (veggie lasagna, it was excellent). We had a great visit. Conrad is pretty much through with Pokemon now and into Yu-Gi-Oh. We have had MANY bug bites! We saw another bear last weekend. Conrad found some salamanders a couple of weeks ago and has been seeing lots of new and strange bugs around. It hasn't been a very busy month, but we're looking forward to Kim and the girls coming up in a few days. |
