Yes, she is a small wonder. Running from 1985-1989, the series revolved around a robot named Vicky, played by Tiffany Brisette. This science-fiction situation comedy of hijinx and hilarity begun when Ted Lawson, a robotic scientist, brought home his newest creation, a domestic robot designed to look like a ten year old girl. If that was not funny enough, she was super strong, and always hurt Grandpa when hugging him. She also lifted up the couch to clean under it, using her mouth as a vacuum; a talent which became very useful in her teen years. Each episode involved some outsider coming into contact with the family and the shenanigans that ensued as they tried to hide her true robot nature. On my list, Small Wonder is slightly behind Simon and Simon as a the best show ever and definitely should be brought back on the air, probably on Fox. |
