Chapter 10
She was still crying when they all arrived. She felt Tylers arm on her shoulder and she felt Karen take the letter from her hand. She sat beside her and everyone sat on the floor. Karen read the letter out loud, stopping sometimes because she couldnt speak. Katherine took it from her grandmother and finished reading it.

They all sat there silently. Mary, Emanuel and Sabrina didnt quite understand what was going on. Josh explained them quietly as their grandparents; Tyler and Heather talked with Cindy. Cindy bit her lip and looked at her nine children sitting there. She knew that Mary, Emanuel and Sabrina never met their father and that Amanda and Martha remembered of him slightly.

The kids looked up and they knew exactly what Cindy had decided.

Are you sure about this mother? Josh asked kneeling in front of her.

Cindy nodded and got up from the seat. They all went to the bridge and they saw a man sitting on the floor with his head hung low. Cindy turned at her children and kneeled down.

If he ask about you, come to us, alright? she asked before she looked at the triplets. If I say theres something you should know you come, but only if I say it, she said looking up at Heather who nodded as a tear ran down her cheek.

Cindy slowly got up and her kids came around her to hug her. She slowly let go of them and turned around. She took a deep breath and walked toward the man. She walked past him and stopped. She looked at the water that reflected the lights.

I always loved coming here at night, she said quietly.

The man jumped slightly when she spoke and he looked up. Tears came to his eyes as she turned around to look at him. He slowly got up and dusted his pants off still looking at her.

Youre beautiful Cindy, he said quietly. He looked down at his feet. Thank you for coming, I he looked up helplessly not knowing what to say.

Joshua, I Cindy just stopped as tears came to her eyes.

She closed her eyes before she ran into his arms and sobbed. Joshua knew that she forgave him by this simple act. Both of them cried in each others arms. After a while they calmed down and she pulled away slightly. She looked up at him and a smile came to her face as her fingers went through his long hair.

What happened with you hair honey? she asked loving the way his hair felt in her hand.

Joshua shrugged his shoulders. I told myself that I wouldnt cut my hair until I found you, he said looking down.

I like it, but its a little too long, Ill have to cut a few inches off of it, Cindy said more to herself then to him.

So this is it? Joshua asked looking into her eyes.

Oh you want me to scream at you and hit you? Cindy asked with amusement in her voice.

Oh no! No no no! I meant, are we okay, like, you want me back in your life okay, you know, he said loving the way she played with his hair.

I want to, do you? Cindy said leaning in slowly.

Yeah, Joshua replied before kissing her tenderly for the first time in six years.

He lifted her up and her arms snaked around his neck. She pulled away and smiled at him. He smiled back at her and placed her down. He pushed her hair away from her face not looking away from her eyes.

How are my six angels doing? Joshua asked after a while.

Cindy shrugged as she saw them walked towards him. Joshua laughed at her but stopped abruptly when someone tapped on his shoulder. He looked behind him and gasped. Joshua looked back at his wife not believing what he saw.

You I No Cant

Joshua, calm down, Cindy said quietly taking his hand in hers. Honey, they are your angels, they just grew up a little, she said smiling at him.

You think we should tell him? asked Katherine grinning at her mother.

I dont know Josh said still looking at his father.

Tell me what? Joshua asked as tears came to his eyes.

Oh well I have something to tell you Cindy said shrugging her shoulders.

Joshua looked up when he heard little squeals come from behind the kids. He saw three little kids running at him before the hugged him as they could. He looked down not quite understanding before he looked up and saw his parents, brother and sister walked slowly towards him. He looked back up and didnt understand.

November, you came home and told me about the court Cindy said looking dead into his eyes.

You mean Joshua said before it clicked. Oh that, he said blushing a little.

Joshua looked at the nine kids and he let go. He let the tears flow. He knew that theyd work things out. He knew his kids werent mad at him and that his parents werent either. They all left the garden and went home to talk it all out.

A week later

So, are you guys ready to meet Cindys husband? Carson asked as they came back on air.

Yes! the audience yelled their answer.

Well, Cindy, are you going to call him, get him, sing a song, or what?

Everyone should close their eyes, no peeking, put something in front of the camera so that the viewers at home cant see either and if there is NO peeking, hell be standing beside me when you guys open your eyes,

Everyone did as she said. Cindy walked behind the fake wall and smiled at him. They kissed quickly and waited a few moments.

Okay, you can open your eyes now,

Everyone did and they just looked around. Cindy walked out holding his hand and everyone gasped. Carson couldnt say a word. Cindy looked at the audience not knowing what to expect. Tears came to her eyes. He sensed her mood changing and made her look into his eyes.

I wont let them hurt you, if I EVER hear ONE bad thing about you, Ill stop everything and go home,

No, Joshua, dont say something you wont keep, I should of stopped you the moment you said you wanted to come out and let your fans know about us. I should of known,

She ran out leaving everyone gasping. Josh and Katherine ran after her as a camera followed them. The rest of the kids went to their father not knowing what else to do. Joshua picked up Sabrina and held the hands of Emanuel.

Come on kids, lets go home, he said quietly turning around.

Does Cindy make you happy?

What kind of question is this Carson? Dont you think that I wouldnt BE with her is she didnt make me happy? Dont you THINK that we wouldnt have gotten married in the first place if she werent my soul mate and my every thing? Dont you think we wouldnt have kids at all if we didnt LOVE each other? he asked angrily before turning around again.

Why didnt you tell us you were married? Carson asked quietly.

Ask my old executive director why he threatened me to kick me out of the group if I ever mentioned about my wife and kids. Ask him why I wasnt able to go back home when my baby was in the hospital. Ask him why I wasnt able to go home when my wife was dying. Ask him, not me. I was forced to stay away from my family. I guess he was right. The fans only wants a group of guys wholl stay single for the rest of time and have one night stands with the fans. Well Im not that, Im out of it. Now if youll excuse me, Ill have to go and find my wife, calm her down and go home, he said before walking out of the set in search of Cindy and their two kids.

Everyone was quiet. No one blinked an eyed not knowing exactly what just happened. Carson was about to speak when they heard gunshots and Joshua yell for help. Carson ran out of the set as the audience saw on the screen two kids kneeling down around Cindys body. Fans gasped when they saw that she was bleeding and a few grabbed their cell phones and called 911.

Cindy screamed at the top of her lungs as she sat up on her bed breathing heavily. She looked around herself as her door flung open and Tyler ran to her and held her as she sobbed on his shoulder.
