Friends of John Congley

We welcome you to join us on Saturday, December 11, 2004 to honor the

memory of our beloved friend John Congley who passed away unexpectedly

 on July 25, 2004.  He will be sadly missed by family and friends. 

 

John grew up in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School

in 1986.  John also worked as a deep sea commercial fisherman

 in Gloucester.  He was very active and was involved in the following:

 

Local 290 Laborer's International Union of North America

An all-star first baseman for the Baybridge Bottom Feeders Co-Ed Softball Team

 The assistant coach for The Peabody Police Senior Girl's Softball Team

 

 He contributed a lot to the community and we wish to honor his memory by organizing a

benefit in his name to contribute to several special organizations.

 

All Proceeds Will Be Donated To The Following:

A scholarship to a high school student attending Beverly High School

 who has demonstrated random acts of kindness

 

To sponsor families for Christmas through the help of

Saint Mary's Church and Beverly Bootstraps

 

The Gloucester Fishermen's Wives Association

7:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

 

Tickets:  $15.00 per person
