Alligator

A large crocodilian reptile found in the southern U.S. having a shorter, blunter snout than the crocodile and the lower teeth clamping into pits in the upper. Up to 18 feet in length.

Raccoon

An American nocturnal plantigrade carnivore. Grayish-brown in color with a black cheek patch and black-and-white-ringed bushy tail.

Opossum

A marsupial of largely aboreal and nocturnal habits, having a prehensile tail and feet adapted for grasping; popularly called possum.
