Update,March 10, 2002, N7TL now has over 50 hrs. of flight time and the test flights have been finished with the help of John Parker and Jim Weldon. Until you experience it, you can not imagine the thrill of flying an airplane that you built yourself. I still have a smile on my face everytime I fly. There were no suprises during the test flights and very few things needed to be changed or adjusted. Performance has been pretty much as advertised, take off takes about eight seconds, climb solo is about 2000 fpm, and top cruise is almost 200 mph. The plane is scheduled to go to the paint shop around Easter. I added a section called "Let's go flying", this has pictures from of the finished plane and its first landing. I also have received my repairman's certificate and become an EAA Technical Counselor and Flight Advisor. Until next time...keep on building!
