Morale Dilemma #1 I think that the man should save the boy. The boy is younger than him and has more of a life to live. The man, when returned to jail, he can try and appeal his case if he is truly innocent. If the man left the boy his conscience would definitely eat him up inside. However the problem is the man may not know how bad the boys injuries are, and therefore the boy could die at the hospital or on the way to the hospital. If the man takes the boy he will be captured. And he obviously does not want to be captured. He can not run forever he eventually be captured by the police then be returned to jail, if he chooses this route he will be in jail and will not have saved the boy. I believe that it is in his best interest to save the boy in order to make it a win-win situation. If I were in this situation it would definitely not be easy to decide which to chose, I think that the best situation to chose is to save the boy.
Morale Dilemma #2 No I do not think that the man should marry the woman even though he promised her he would. If the man does not love her he should not marry her, however he should let her down softly and in due time. She has been through a lot of hardship recently. Even though I think that he should not marry her, the man should not pretend to be in love with her. In this situation, it would be very hard to lie the way I think that the man should. In a different situation, it would be possible for the man to wait on marriage and if he falls in love with her then he should proceed to marry her. The man is in between a rock and a hard place and I do not dread the decision he would have to make. The woman has been struck with this traumatic experience and the man should at least be there for her for morale support. |

Morale Dilemma #4 I think even though it would be VERY hard to hurt ones baby, the mother, the baby, and the rest of the group would be dead if the mother did not smother the baby. So the real decision comes down to, a mother killing the baby or a Nazi killing the baby. So either way the baby would die. If the mother does not smother the baby she will surly die as well along with the rest of the group. If the Nazi catches them they will be killed, if she is able to quiet the baby, it does not necessarily die. I think that the best choice is to smother the baby, the baby; the mother and the group all have the best chance of freedom if they save the baby. This would be no doubt the hardest decision any parent would have to make and it would most likely haunt them for the rest of their life. But in a difficult situation like this, one must look at the broad picture and make the best choice after looking at all the angles, but to me the best choice to smother the baby.

Morale Dilemma #3 In this situation I think that if what he lied about is truly relevant about what he is licensed to practice then she should do something about it. However if the lie in no way affects the patients, like the brother lied about his weight, or something like that she should not care. Since it states that it may be important the sister should talk to the brother first. She should tell him that she knows that he lied and that he should tell the truth. If the man does not tell the sister should threaten to tell the brother that if he does not want to tell the board she will. I think that sister, a doctor, has the right to protect not only her patients, but other patients. The brother should not have lied in the first place but two wrongs dont make a right, so I think that he should confess no matter what the consequences, for the patients sake.

Morale Dilemma #5 In this situation, it would be difficult to decide what to do. Because on one hand you have the easy A in front of you and on the other hand you have your conscience. All of your work may come down to this grade and the temptation of and easy A is right there. However, there is an extremely high possibility that the teacher will find out that a test is stolen just by the high grades. In affect I dont think that anyone would have to tell the teacher before they found out about it. If I was placed in this situation and I was the only one who had not bought a copy, I would probably buy one but not use it. Although the temptation would be extremely high to just look at it once you had it I think that this may be the safest was out. If you are extremely worried about the class thinking you told the teacher, buy one and dont use it. Just study extremely hard, and get a tutor before the final.
