Fosters
Last Updated June 2005
Someday there will be pics!

2000
My first foster was Clarice in 2000. She was a special girl and even though she was in my house only 3 weeks, it really hurt when she was adopted to wonderful people.

2002
I didn't foster again until 2002 when I took in a pregnant female cat who had been abandoned in a cardboard box with 8 kittens that weren't hers but to whom she was trying to be a mother. We named her Mae. She was another wonderful feline. Not only was she sweet to people but she was the perfect mother cat. She taught me so much about raising kittens that I will be forever grateful. She gave birth to four live and two stillborn kittens. Her living kittens were named Talya, Hera, Pushya, and Pokey. They were all polydactyl, with Pokey being the numbers winner. He had 26 toes, 7 on each front foot and 6 on each back foot. He was a tuxedo with the biggest feet I've ever seen.
