Equipment
| Union R-105 "Polar"
Battle Tank |
Weight: 42.5
tonnes
Crew: 3
Max. Speed: 65 km/h
Armament: 105mm rifled cannon
7.62 mm machine gun |
The R-86 features modular
composite armor, an advanced ballistics computer, advanced night/infra-red sighting, and
laser range-finding. Produced as an inexpensive light tank, the Polar received its first
testings during the Nivikaarn civil war. |
 |
| Union R-100 "Star"
Battle Tank |
Weight: 46
tonnes
Crew: 3
Max. Speed: 65 km/h
Armaments: 120 mm smooth bore cannon; 7.62 mm machine gun; 12.7
mm anti-aircraft machine gun; laser-guided missile tracking/targetting system |
The R-100 "Star"
was introduced into the UGC contingent during the 1503 May Day celebrations. Designed to
sport heavier firepower than the R-77 and be faster than the R-90, the Star is
one of the most effective and sophisticated pieces of military equipment put together to
date. Also, a removeable |
 |
| Union R-90 "Thunder"
Battle Tank |
Weight: 48
tonnes
Crew: 3
Max. Speed: 60 km/h
Armament: 125mm smooth bore cannon
7.62mm coaxial machine gun
12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun |
The R-90
"Thunder" Battle Tank is not as widely produced as the "Wolf", but it
has superior firepower with a larger forward cannon. It got its name from the sound
of the gun being fired. |
 |
| Union R-77 "Wolf"
Battle Tank (UR-290E export classification) |
Weight: 48
tonnes
Crew: 3
Max. Speed: 65 km/h
Armament: 105mm smooth bore cannon
7.62 mm machine gun
12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun |
The R-77 "Wolf"
Battle Tank is the mainstay of the Union armor corps. It has a large forward cannon
which can be fired on the move, with a machine gun for taking care of infantry, as well as
a large machine gun for aircraft. It received the name "Wolf" from its
swiftness, and the fact it works well in groups |
 |
| Union A-35 "Longbow"
Howitzer Artillery Unit |
Weight: 32
tonnes
Crew: 5
Max. Speed: 55 km/h
Caliber: 155mm
Max. Range: 38700m |
The R-35
"Longbow" Howitzer was created to give back up to any tank unit. The sheer
range of this piece of artillery can allow it to shell a group of opposing artillery from
the horizon, but accuracy decreases as distance increases.. Although not mass
produced in the same scale as the tanks, they are members of all armored corps |
 |
| Union T-60 "Firestorm"
Multiple Rocket Launcher (MRL) |
Weight: 30
tonnes
Crew: 5
Max. Speed: 55 km/h
Caliber: 122mm
Rocket length: 1.9m
Range: 20km |
The "Firestorm"
is a tracked rocket launcher with a maximum speed of 55 km/h. |
 |
| Union R-50 "Safe" APC |
Weight:
14.4 tonnes
Crew: 2+13
Max. Speed: 65 kp/h
Armament: 12.7mm machine gun |
The "Safe" was
ordered for the safe transport of infantry units through battle areas with safety.
It earned its name since it quite literally is a metal box, nearly impenetrable without
heavier fire from tanks. It has a single roof-mounted machine gun for protection
against other infantry and for cover fire for friendly infantry |
 |
| Union AA-54 "Tiger"
37mm Anti-Aircraft Artillery |
Weight: 19.2
tonnes
Crew: 2
Max. speed: 50 km/h
Caliber: 37mm
Effective range: 7200m
Effective altitude: 4000m
Horizontal movement: 360 deg.
Vertical movement: -10~87 deg
Rate of fire: 440~480 rounds/min |
The "Tiger" was
developed using captured Abacon military technology during the war. They weigh
slightly more than their Abacon counterpart, but make up for it with the 37mm guns over
the usual 25mm. It's at the cutting edge of non-rocket based mobile anti-aircraft
technology in the Union, sporting advanced computer tracking systems. |
 |
| Union T-40 "Sniper"
Tank Destroyer |
Weight: 30
tonnes
Crew: 3
Max. speed: 55 km/h
Caliber: 120 mm
Muzzle velocity: 1700 m/sec
Armor piercing thickness: 150mm at 2500 m
Max range: 10000m |
The "Sniper" was
designed after the need for them was proven in the Abacon war. Tank destroying or
immobilizing artillery, rocketry, and ballistic weapons have been designated a definite
place alongside conventional tanks and artillery in the Ministry of Industry's production
queues. |
 |
| Union Type-85 Armored Ambulance |
Powerplant: V-802
V-8 Diesel (202 hp)
Max speed: 60 km/h
Function: armored ambulance
Weight: 11 tonnes
Armament: one 12.7mm machine gun |
The Type-85 is the primary
armored ambulance in use in the UGC. |
 |
| Union DEX-104 Ballistic Missile |
Guidance: inertial
with terminal correction
Weight: n/a
Length: 9.22m
Range: 600 km
Propulsion: solid propellant
Accuracy: CEP 100-300m
Warhead: 1,100 lbs conventional HE; 90 kiloton nuclear |
The DEX-104 is the primary
tactical ballistic missile employed by the UGC. Already possessing a short
reaction-to-launch time, improved models also contain a steerable warhead capable of
altering trajectory. A GPS guidance system is under development to improve CEP to under
100m. |
 |
| Union DX-4 InterContinental
Ballistic Missile |
Guidance: inertial
Weight: n/a
Length: n/a
Range: 12,800km
Propulsion: two-stage liquid propellant
Accuracy: n/a
Warhead: nuclear only |
The DX-4 is the largest
missile employed by the UGC, capable ot targetting locations on other continents. The
exact number of these missiles is unknown due to their classified nature and use of
decoys. Information indicates they are kept in silos in ready-to-fire conditions.
Following the 1503 15th anniversary of Unionism, several of these missiles were known to
have been deployed in Neepon with help from Reichstadt. |
