Freedom Fighters for the Truth
Why is it so important that someone has the absolute Truth?
NIV: John 8:32 - Then you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you Free
King James: John 8:32 - and ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free
What Jesus tells us with these passages is that without the
Full, complete and entire Truth you are not free. Anything that is a half Truth is no longer a Truth, and anything that contains Truth but is not entire Truth is not Truth. In that respect anyone who does not have the Truth is not Free and does not have the freedom that Jesus Christ gave us.

Contradictions
1) What does the bible say about contradictions?
NIV: Galatians 1:6-10 - I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel - which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.  But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!  As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other then what is accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
King James: Galatians 1:6-10 - 6.  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7.  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8.  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9.  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The word of God directly says that any other Gospel other then the gospel of Christ is a false gospel. When the word says preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you it means a contradicting or different message. Let him be accursed That means that the gates of Heaven will not be open to that person and all who follow in the lie will be held accountable for it.  The Word talks about how the Gospel of Christ will be corrupted but there be some that trouble you. This means that the Gospel of Christ will be used in such a way to try to confuse you or trick you about the Gospel of Christ. Overall the word says that anything that is said that is different then what I have taught you is NOT FROM GOD.

2) What does the Bible say about Modern Day or living Prophets?
NIV: Hebrews 1:1-2 - In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through he made the universe.
King James: Hebrews 1:1-2 1.  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2.  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

This Passage makes clear the difference between prophets before Jesus and after Jesus.  Prophets before Jesus (ex. Moses) were a connection to God because Jesus had not come yet and sin still separated us from God. Once Jesus came people could connect to God themselves, on a personal level because Jesus had bridged the Gap caused by sin. That caused after Jesus prophets (ex. Paul) to point people to Jesus because no longer were prophets needed to connect us too God. What Joseph Smith did was he said that to get to the higher heaven you need Jesus and Joseph. The bible clearly states that Jesus is the only way to God, we no longer need that Joseph connection.

3) What does the Bible say about Prophets that contradict God?
NIV - Deuteronomy 13: 1-15 - If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, let us follow other gods (gods you have not known) and let us worship them, you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your heart and with all your soul.  It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere.  Keep his commands and obey him: serve him and hold fast to him.  That prophet or dreamer must be put to death, because he preached rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery; He has tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow.  You must purge the evil from among you.
If your own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, Let us go and worship other Gods (Gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the people around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to him or listen to him.  Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death.  Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of the people. Stone him to death because he tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.  Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.
If you hear it said about one of the towns the Lord your God is giving you to live in that wicked men have arisen among you and have let the people of their town astray, saying, Let us go and worship other Gods (Gods you have not known), then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly.  And if it is true and it has been proven that this detestable thing has been done among, you must certainly put the sword to all who live in this town.

King James: Deuteronomy 13: 1-151.  If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and
2.  And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3.  Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
4.  Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
5.  And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the Lord thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
6.  If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
7.  Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
8.  Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
9.  But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
10.  And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
11.  And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
12.  If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the Lord thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
13.  Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
14.  Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
15.  Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

When God says tried to get you to follow other Gods he is saying trying to get you to do what is other then the Lord.  God says they will
Try to turn you away from what the Lord your God commanded you to follow. Therefore it is not only other Gods that God says not to follow, it is anything that Trys to get you away from what the Lord you God commanded you to follow. Therefore ANYTHING at all that is different from what God says is something that is trying to turn you away from what God commanded you to follow. Something that is different from what God says is called a contradiction, so all that contradicts God or what he says is false.  God makes it very clear of what will happen to the people that preach these false messages, He says to Put them to death. In the passage God talks about the people who will have their brother, of someone else try to lead them to another God, those people if they did not realize and followed the other God or Contradicting message will also be condemned and not receive salvation.  God wants all to be saved so if false prophets are put to death like God says then more people will receive salvation because they will not be lead away from the Lord.

4) What does the Bible say about Satans relationship to Jesus Christ (are they brothers)?
NIV: Genesis 3:1- Now the serpent was more craft than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.  He said to the woman, Did God really say, you must not eat from any tree in the Garden?
King James: Genesis 3:1 - 1.  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

This verse makes it very clear that the serpent also know as Satan was a creation. We know that because it says God had made.  This is different from Jesus in the fact that Jesus was the creator. He cannot create Satan and be brothers with him. The following verses show that.
NIV: Colossians 1:15-17- He is the image of the Invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and For him.
King James: Colossians 1:15-1715.  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16.  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17.  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

We know that in these verses the creator that is being referred to is Jesus because He is the image of the invisible God. That is a direct reference to Christ and him being our God. It says that all things were created by him, and it says in the verse from Genesis that Satan was only a creation.  Therefore the bible directly tells us that Satan and Jesus are not brothers.

5) What does the Bible say about eternal Marriage in Heaven?
NIV: Matthew 22:30 -31 - At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
King James: Matthew 22:30 -31 - 30.  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

The previous verses are of when Jesus replied to a question about marriage in heaven. He directly says that there will be no marriage in heaven. We have to remember that in this verse Jesus himself speaks of heaven. In our previous section it says that Jesus is the creator of heaven and of earth. Jesus will defiantly know what heaven is going to be like.

6) What does the Bible say about God having a body of flesh and bones?
NIV: John 4:24 - God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth
King James: John 4:24 - 24.  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

It is indisputable that God is a spirit. He leaves us with no question or way of wondering. God is not made of flesh and bones as man is, God is a spirit.

7) What does the Bible say about the existence of other Gods?
NIV: Psalm 86:10 - For you are great and do marvelous deads; you alone are God.
King James: Psalm 86:10 -10.  For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

This verse is a dead giveaway because God uses the word alone. It doesnt say: thou art your only God, It says thou art God alone. That directly says there are no other Gods.
NIV: Isaiah 43:10 - You are my witnesses, declares the Lord, and my servent whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no God was formed, nor will there be one after me.
King James: Isaiah 43:10 - 10.  Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

In the previous verses it not only tells us who God is, but it mentions that there has never been a God before, and there will never be one after. God says there is no other Gods.

8) What does the Bible say about becoming Gods?
NIV: Isaiah 43:10 - You are my witnesses, declares the Lord, and my servent whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no God was formed, nor will there be one after me.
King James: Isaiah 43:10 - 10.  Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

In Isaiah 43:10 it says that there will never be one after me. This is a direct statement saying that there will never be another God. Therefore it is impossible to progress to Godhood.

9) Was Joseph Smith a Prophet?
NIV: Revelations 22:18 -19 - I warn everyone who hears the words of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.  And if anyone takes away words from this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city which are described in this book.
King James: Revelations 22:18-19 - 18.  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19.  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

1) This part of the Truth Test Joseph Smith failed miserably. The Book of Mormon is a new testament of Jesus Christ. By having a new testament of Jesus Christ that is adding onto the words that God gave us for the bible. Not only that, Joseph Smith has edited several things from the Bible, which account from much adding, and taking away. God says when you add and take away from the Bible you are plagued, and you have your share taken away from the tree of life (heaven). Therefore all who follow Joseph Smith and his teaching are under the same fate as he will be.

11) Joseph Smith also failed the contradiction Test. Not only did his preached word contradict the Bible, It contradicted the words of our savior Jesus Christ. If you remember all words that are not of God are not from him. The words that Joseph Smith spoke where different from what God taught. Joseph Smith will get his just reward in the afterlife of eternal condemnation. He is charged with trying to bring people with him.

111) Joseph Smith also failed the Qualification test. To be a direct connection to God you had to have lived before Christ.

1111) Joseph Smith not only failed all of these tests but is under fire by historians in the rest of the world. Historians, who have found uncountable information to back up the bible account. Have had a difficult time finding many of the key things to back the book of mormon account, even things that should exist like rivers and towns they cannot find. He is also under attack by the world for his occult (witchcraft) activity that he participated in. Historians that spend there life researching people say that it is indisputable that Joseph Smith and his family were involved in the occult. Occult has a direct tie with Demons. Joseph Smith was not only a false prophet, a liar, a deceiver, a thief, but he also worked with the enemy, either knowingly or unknowingly.

1V) Of Joseph Smiths prophecies 1 came true, 3 are under fire for being written after the fact and 68 proved false. That includes one that states that Mormons will never have to cook their food again.

10) What does the Bible say about spiritual Guidance when it is not within the truth?
NIV: 1 John 4:1 - Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
King James: 1 John 4:11.  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

This verse makes a very remarkable tie in with false prophets and false spirits. It says test spirits because many false prophets have gone out into the world. That means that where false prophets linger, there are false spirits also. This means that with Joseph Smith being a false Prophet that false spirits are deceiving by giving heavenly experiences. This Verse makes it obvious that there are many connections with false spirits and false prophets.

11) What does the Bible say I should do with this information?
The Bible will tell you too follow Jesus Christ, and Christ alone, for he is who will save you.
35.  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36.  But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37.  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38.  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39.  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40.  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Come on, ye persecutors! Ye false swearers! All hell, boil over! Ye burning mountains, roll down your lava! For I will come out on the top at last. I have more to boast that ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole churc h together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him: but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.

May. 26 1844, Joseph Smith made this statement at a public sermon (Brodie p 374, HC 6:408-412)
