My name is Aaron Nathaniel Leakey. I was born 18 years ago and raised in Calgary Alberta Canada. I am interested in many different things including soccer, music, reading, games, and God.
This web site is mainly dedicated to the topic of God, so I will talk about that in my life. My conversion to Christianity is not a normal one, and although I went to church all my life I would still consider it a conversion. My conversion could be summed up very clearly in a conversion from Religion to God.
People ask me all the time what drives me, how am I so on fire for God, why I am so different in this area. There is a very simple Truth to this and it changed everything about me. I consentrate all my efforts on seeking the face of God, and not on church. I have found that there is absolutly no benifet to church unless God is there. Church is not needed for good morals, and is often used as a social circle. But God is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me. There was a point when I could say that I achually met God for the first time, and let me tell you there is nothing like it. My daily decisions are made based on what I ask God. Like many of you I also have been very confused many times in my life about God, about life. I do not live a perfect life, I struggle sometimes but I just deal with my problems in a different way then most. I have found that having a relationship with God is just as exciting as the thunder and the lightning, just as beautiful as the sunset. Yes it is a conversation, but so much more, it is a conversation with God.
I am not an un-justified defender of christianity, I have done my research. But along my life to many things have happened that could only be attributed to acts of God. Daily I could share with someone what he is doing or telling me right now. He has given me many gifts like speaking and such, but the most outstanding one is the ability to see differently. When everyone looks at someone they see what is one the surface, but God allows me to see what is going on in someones heart.
I pray that you would never become a religious person, but simply get to know God. I do not believe in universalism but one way, but don't fool yourself it is the best way!
