Blinded by Perfection A single doe stands proud on a grassy knoll. Its fine hair looks perfectly clean and combed. And I wonder why she looks so calm. A single swan sits peacefully in the water. Occasionally dipping her head in search of food. I see her contentness, I wonder why I cant have that. What a wonder are Gods perfect creations! I wish to be as proud and as peaceful as these. Little do I know that; the doe has lost a friend, And the swan worries about what is to come. I do not worry for the swan or for the doe. God has them in his hands, and will never let them go. I may not see scars from battles that theyve faced. But I can be there for them now, When trouble come their way. - Benjamin A. Page
