| Thailand - Vietnam, April 2005 | ||||||||||||||
| During the April '05 school break, while Elizabeth was off on a school field trip to Turkey and Kristen & Teresa were on a school trip to South Africa, Cora & I traveled to Vietnam. We stopped for one night in Bangkok, then visited Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, and Whale Island (Hon Ong) Resort. In HCM City we toured the Mekong Delta region and visited the Cu Chi Tunnels, where, at one time, there was a network of over 250 km of tunnels used by the Vietcong during the war. Our principle activity at Nha Trang and Whale Island was SCUBA diving. | ||||||||||||||
