| In April 2005 we spent a week touring Jordan. Our itinerary included Amman, the ancient Roman city of Jerash, the Umayyad desert castles, the Dead Sea, Mt. Nebo (where Moses first saw the Promised Land), Madaba, Karak (a Crusader castle), Dana Nature Reserve, Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba. | |||||||||||||||||
