| The Scandinavian Cruise | |||||||||||||||||||||
| In July 2002 we traveled to London where we met Grandma and Uncle Tom's family for a cruise to the Scandinavian capitals. While in London we toured the sights and visited Bob, my former boss at Parsons in Pasadena. Our ship, the Norwegian Dream, departed from Dover, then sailed through the Kiel Canal in northern Germany from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea. We stopped in Tallinn, Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia; Helsinki; Stockholm; Copenhagen; and Oslo before returning to Dover. Back in London we visited John, a former co-worker from Boise, and his family. Then Cora and the girls took off for Boise and Tucson and Jim returned to Saudi Arabia. |
