| In Lhasa, Tibet we visited the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Cora, Elizabeth, and Kristen also toured Drepung Monastery, while Teresa and dad surrendered to altitude sickness. From Lhasa we traveled across a 5000 m (16,500 ft) pass to Gyantse. After spending a night in Gyantse, we continued on to Shigatse, and then returned to Lhasa. | ||||||||||||||||||
