WELCOME TO THE
CHARLES TOWN CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATORS GROUP!
We are a
homeschooling support group that seeks to glorify God, build
friendships and encourage one another. Our meetings are held on the
second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm. during the school year. We
either meet at Harvest Pointe church in Charles Town, or sometimes
we meet in individual homes. Families from all over Jefferson county
and surrounding areas are welcome to join.
In addition to a support group meeting for the moms, we also have
field trips each month and social gatherings. We join with the other
homeschooling groups in the area to participate in the PE program at
Shepherd University and the fall Jefferson county homeschool co-op, as
well as other activities. In the spring, we have an end of the year
picnic, a used curriculum/book sale, and a graduation for the
seniors.
